Hey Naina. My fiancé submitted his documents on Oct 2 and on Nov 4 he got his interview date. So maybe you'll be getting something soon.

Hi,

I submitted mine on Oct 25 and they received on the 28th. Here is what I noticed, if they reply your email then your status update date changes. I looked through some old cases here on VJ and it seems that they take longer time between Oct-Jan in giving interview dates.

In an email reply I got from the embassy, it says it should take 4-5 weeks so I plan to send another email in second week of December.

DS 160 was required when my turned came and pretty much that was the only form we had to fill.
