Salam Naina.

I submitted my case on 10/9, and haven't heard anything yet myself. Visa Status Update link isn't helpful either. It only tracks the update back to September 24th, which was the day, I received the email regarding package 3.5. I hope this delay isn't because of the Visa Form D-160. At the time it wasn't required, but I still went ahead and filled the form yesterday.

What is your experience so far?

You submitted the documents on Oct 9? I submitted mine on Oct 8, but I haven't heard from the embassy yet. Which embassy are you talking about, btw? Mine is the embassy in Islamabad... My CEAC was updated on oct 3 when my packet 3.5 was received.

DS-160? When was that required? Is the changes made in the website? My packet 3.5 didn't say that. I'll keep you posted with updates, and please .

keep me updated too.

Oh, BTW, why don't you email the embassy to inquire about your case.

Naina. My Fiance's case is in Islamabad now. Yesterday, I had to send them a harsh email. Within couple of hours, they responded back and for some reason said that they started processing our case on October 20th. Maybe it was because of the Eid Holidays.

CEAS still says Ready, but the Status is Updated on Nov 5th Vs Sep 24, which was yesterday. Not sure what does "updated" mean though. Hopefully, I am on his/her right side ;)

my main mistake was that i take a translator and he i give my interview in Urdu rather then in English ,they ask us to submit bonafide marriage evidence. And only date was change because i send them email and they reply that's it my case arrive here in august and since then i am waiting for there contact but they put my case in ap when ever i send them email or call dos they give the same reply.some time i am frustrated from all this situation .

Hey, don't be frustrated. Pray more. Insha'Allah everything will be alright. I'll pray for you too. So the translator didn't translate properly or the interviewer mistakenly thought you didn't know English? Is your husband abroad?

And if they asked for additional information, you must've sent that, right?

We already send additional information and we are ready to send further more if they ask and yes my husband is us citizen and because i can hear the question properly that's why i took the translator and the was lot of noise over there so that's why i need his help other wise i can answer them as i know and now i am more confidence on me that i can answer any of there question as nothing is wrong in our relation .but in feb 2014 our marriage will be 3 year so it turn in ir1 visa rather then cr1 .i am in such a stressed situation that its almost same time since they receive our case back from uscis and no contact every one asking me to sit quite till 6 months pass but i am worried that they forget our case if i dont send them any email. So i send them an email in sept then in oct but every time i got a same reply.wait, wait and wait.
