Does it matter where I file?

Hey everyone,

Quick question. Does it matter where I submit my I-129 packet? I currently reside in Arizona, so Texas and California are almost equidistant, but I don't know if that even matters.

Do you just pick whichever you prefer, or are there actual guidelines as to where you have to submit the application?

All I-129F petitions are filed at the Dallas Lockbox. A service centre (either Texas or California) will be assigned to you.

You send your petition to the address listed on the USCIS website for the I-129F, in Texas.
