What is a packet 3? What does it contain? How do i get it? Will the USEM email or mail it to me? I'm just clueless about this packet 3. Although i've been reading about it here.

Thanks guys!

Everything with USEM is done online, no packet 3 is mailed out. In fact there is no "packet 3".

Once you have your MNL # you can pay your visa fee, schedule your interview, do your medical

Thanks so much Hank! I already paid the visa, scheduled my appointment online. Medical will be done next week cause "monthly visitor" just came in. With regards to this, do i have to do another pre-registration at SLEC? Cause i already pre-registered last week but won't be able to do it this week.

Another question is: My son's name is included in K1 petition. But i won't be able to bring him with me even after a year (follow-to-join). So i just paid the visa for myself. Will i have problems with this during my interview? I mean if the CO would ask me.

You are pre-registered with SLEC so you are good, even a week from now.

Your son not coming with you right now is not an issue, you will not have problems with the CO regarding this. Just remember if you are going to do the K2 his visa has to be ISSUED within a year of your visa being issued. If not done within that year your son will have to be petitioned separately later.
