First off, sorry, this probably isn't even the correct forum to post this in, but I couldn't find any other that suited.

My apologies.

I accidentally washed my passport containing my K-1 visa. I've already entered the United States, gotten married and is about to file for AOS.

Is this a concern to the USCIS that my passport got soaked and the visa page is damaged? The text is still legible, but the picture is half washed out.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe you have to send copies of the visa page for AOS. Have you got photocopies of the visa (before it got wet) for records? If your passport is damaged, you might also want to look into replacing/renewing it.

The visa was a single use, so other than needing to include a copy with your AoS documentation, you don't really need it anymore. Once you receive the NoA from your application, it will be time to get your passport replaced. Depending which country you're from you can probably do this via an Embassy in New York.

Don't worry too much, as USCIS issued the visa they can track it from your passport number, provided that's still legible in the passport. :)
