Principal beneficiary and derivatives traveling to the U.S. Separately?

My aunt who is the principal beneficiary for an F4 Visa, and her family have received their visas and are now able to travel to the U.S. My uncle, who is a derivative doesn't wish to come to the states until December, but my aunt and cousins want to be here in a couple weeks. Could he travel alone a month later? Or are they all required to enter with the principal beneficiary?
