DS 160 questions, K visa instructions Packet misleading?

So according to the K Visa Instruction packets, it is now only required to have the DS-160 filled out and to bring the confirmation page once the DS-160 has been fully submitted online.

If you look at the checkbox about the Photographs requiring 2 passport sized photos, it says to please attach them to your completed DS-156 form? Is this an error?

Do you need the DS-156 form? Our visa interview is this week!! we do have the DS-156 form filled out but according to everyone, DS-160 replaces all the other forms(DS156,DS156K,DS157)(DS-158?)

Yes, the DS160 is an ONLINE FORM ONLY and there is no hardcopy to print. Once submitted, you get a confirmation page that you print and bring with to interview.

I saw the minor details as I describe in my original post and was curious to why it says to attach it to the DS 156 Forms. It could be an error that just hasn't been fixed?

Yes you can, when you finish the form and submit it there is an option to print a review of the entire application, Do print this review out and make sure to copy it and email(mail) it to your fiance(e) so he/she can review all the information and answers on the DS160 form.

It also gives you the option to email the confirmation to your fiance(e) - or you can just mail it out as you suggest after you print it(Make sure to print it in the best quality you can so the barcodes are readable). Do email yourself a copy though.

At the end of the form, it will ask you to upload a high quality passport photo. Make sure to acquire a high quality passport style photo and upload it as it asks.

There is a part that asks if the form was filled out with the help of another, I suggest putting NO in this section for various reasons as I believe that your fiance(e) should know the answers to all the DS160 questions and information required. (thats why I suggest printing the review out so that he/she can study it haha)

i also read that he needs a resume with a work plan once he enters usa. what does anyone suggest. he plans on going to school to learn a trade then seek work?

For the work plan, on my Fiancee's resume, we put a few sentences in that says something of : I want to furthur my education if possible and acquire a job in (city, state, USA) once I have authorization to work in America. I would like to work at a job specific to my skills and education (explain some skills and just put an example job he/she would like to acquire)

This way you explain where he/she is planning to find work and a possible plan, nothing too hard to remember if the Visa Officer asks some questions off the resume.

~ reguarding your questions about the DS160, you only get one chance to print out the DS160 completed review, you can't retrieve this review after you have exited the page so while it gives you the option to print it, do so(On the last page once everything is submitted it'll give you the options, Print confirmation page and Print a review of the completed DS160)_ Make sure to use a browser that'll work effectively with JAVA(since some browsers will bug out and give you errors) I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. The entire DS160 application process requires a stable internet browser. Internet Explorer was bugging out on me so I decided to use Firefox which worked better.
