Honeymoon cruise after legal marriage with K-1 visa before AOS?

Can my English fiance and I go on a cruise for our honeymoon after we are legally married in the US subsequent to his entry with his K-1 visa but before we have officially applied for AOS? The cruise would be leaving the US to the Bahamas, so I want to know if he will be allowed back into the US after the cruise if we haven't yet applied for AOS. The plan is to have legal ceremony in February and then take a cruise with family and friends following, that same weekend.

NO you could go on an american river cruise but any cruise that leave US waters and has stops outside the US could mean immigration re-screening and cause you to sit out waiting for a CR1 to get her back to the US

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.

Could we not file for AOS, and include an I-131 for Advanced Parole and once I-131 is approved, we can take the cruise? Is a honeymoon request on an I-131 a valid reason or is it only for emergency or family-needed visits?

Anyone can file the I-131, doesn't need to be for an emergency.

Whether it will be approved in time for your cruise different matter though.

You could do that however, I think AP is running right around 3 months at the moment.
