Hi,

My Visa has been approved and was wondering if I still have to apply for ESTA?

Thank you :)

Yes, if you have not applied for ESTA before (it's valid for 2 yrs) then I would recommend doing so. Not sure about the others but I did for my trip before the visa was approved, hence I didn't need to apply for one when I had the visa in hand Edited by veepaisal

Wrong,

AU150703 is entering US under K1 visa, so don't need to apply for ESTA (which is for entering US with VWP)

Hi Everyone,

I'm almost done with my packing. Leaving on Aug 10.

Just wondering what is it like at POE. What actually happen when you hand over the sealed envelope? Anyone care to share your experience?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers!

Hi guys,

I submitted my police report to SPF, sent in embassy letter together with my appeal on 5th Oct, but haven't heard anything back - online status shows "in process". But i'm kinda worried if they take way too long because i sent back my packet 3 on 5th Oct as well.

I emailed SPF but no reply yet, is there anything else i can do or has anyone had similar experience? how did it go for you?

I'm not singaporean but have studies and worked here since 2007 Dec.

Thank you so much!!

You'll be brought into a waiting area/room for them to process what's inside of the envelope. It took me approx 10-15 mins and I'm allowed entry to USA.

Hi Merrytooth,

Thank you for the link. I have checked and they do not have my latest arrival date which is this year in August. So how should I go about with it. Do I need to apply or something?

You mean that you entered US on K1 visa in August and there is no I-94 record online?

Do you have the entry stamp on your passport?

If you still cannot find your I-94, please contact the nearest* Customs and Border Protection Deferred Inspection Site and a CBP Officer will be able to assist you.

Hi Merrytooth,

Yes, I have an entry stamp on my passport. Sorry to trouble you with this issue. I also need to confirm about the Visa Number. Is it the Control number which located at the top right corner or the ones at the bottom near the fiance detail (bottom left, with the initial letter L)?

And I thought we don't have to pay any fees! Sigh!

You will need a copy of I-94 for AOS I-485, so go to the CBP to resolve the missing record first:

Read this guide for AOS.

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

The filing fees increase on Dec 23rd, 2016.

So you will want to file the application before that.

Hi Merrytooh,

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Noted on the Visa Number location. I will submit before my 90 days expires which is Nov 8. I just hope that CBP will not take long to send me record of my I-94.

You're the best!
