You can send in DS-3025 if the form is properly filled up and US vaccination requirements COMPLETE.

Btw, I just noticed that the A number printed on my K-1 visa in my passport (in the Annotation section) is different from the A number on my K-1 NOA2. It differs only in the last digit, so I think the embassy printed the wrong number(typo) on my visa. Not sure if it will cause issues for me, but was wondering if this happened to anyone else in Singapore.

try send an email to embassy and enquire? My Alien number is the same throughout the process. Hope all goes well for u fhopper!

Hello Everyone!

I got my letter from the Embassy here in Spore - Instruction of the final document / preparation. My question is, can I go for my medical check up and COC before I fill in the DS-160 form?

Another question is what is the minimum salary to meet the 125% salary percentile?

Thank you in advance people. Have a nice day.

Cheers

I filed DS160, paid and mailed to the embassy first, went to COC the next day, called to make appointment for medical check up. not sure if you can do it before filling up.

Yeap check the USCIS poverty guideline website for Adjustment of Status because that will be the one you will be going for when you arrive US. Here's the link: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

They just increased the poverty guideline this month. Its USD20,025

Back then, my hubby just got a job change and they said that it needs to be a full year for poverty guideline. I provided them my bank savings statements to prove that I am able to depend on my own. I think you should bring along your bank statements just for extra info. Hope that helps :)

Hi all,

I am happy to have found this forum and I would like to ask your advice here.

I am confused now if I have to send back the packet 3 to the embassy. I already have all the documents except my medical exam which is scheduled on 27 april 2016. I am thinking of submitting my packet 3 anytime soon and do my medical while waiting for the interview date. I reckon that interview date may take a month from date of packet 3 submission.

Can advise me if it's fine to send back packet 3 now? Appreciate all your kind replies. Thanks in advance!

Posted (edited)

Hi rednavel, yeap for me, I submitted packet 3 first then make appt with Dr Horne's and medical examination the week after. You're on the right track :) Good luck!

Also you might want to refer to the previous pages of this thread to see what are the documents to include in the packet 3 when you send out, just in case.

Hey fellow sgreans! How's everyone doing! Hows your k1 interview?

Just a reminder to change your address on your IC once you've reached US. Just drop an email to ICA at: ICA_Feedback@ica.gov.sg and they'll send you the application form, you can email the scanned copy back.

Under the National Registration Act, an Identity Card (IC) holder is required to report his/her change of residential address (the place a person physically resides) within 28 days, including changes to a place of residence outside Singapore.

If an IC holder is residing overseas, the IC holder could report a change of address to his/her overseas address. For such, there is no need to provide documentary evidence to report to an overseas address. The IC holder may request in writing to update his/her address through this email address or by post to ICA at the following address:

Director

Citizen Services Centre

National Registration Office (NRO)

Immigration & Checkpoints Authority

10 Kallang Road #03-00

Singapore 208718

The IC holder is required to furnish us with his/her full name, NRIC number and overseas address in his/her request.

Upon receipt of the request, we will update the new address in our database and the address sticker will be sent to the IC holder’s overseas address by post to be affixed onto his/her identity card. The IC holder is required to report the change to his/her Singapore address when he/she returns to Singapore permanently.

The overseas address via OSCARS will be transmitted to participating Government and Statutory organisations for them to update their own address records where applicable. Thus, the IC holder does not need to report the residential address to these agencies separately.

*Note: The IC holder should notify the private institutions and non-participating government agencies with which he/she has dealings of the change of address separately.

For more information about update Change of Residential Address in IC for Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents residing overseas, kindly refer to: http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=142&secid=72

Hi guys,

I just want to ask heLp regarding about about what to do/prepare after receiving NOA2..

TIA! :)

It's a waiting game to receive NOA2 & NOA3. In the meantime I would recommend getting all the necessary required shots done at a travel clinic (browse the entire thread to know where to go - I personally went to TTSH) to save $ (the appointed Drs Horne&Chin is expensive). If you do go for the shots at a travel clinic, you'll be given a yellow vaccinations booklet. Provide that to the appointed clinic. In addition to the required vaccines preparation, you'll also need to prepare for submitting documents to the embassy. Kitthekat has extensive information in the first few pages of her application. It was very helpful for me.

Other than that, good luck and hope you'll recv noa2&3 soon!

HI Veepaisal,

I read about you going to TTSH to get your vaccination. How much does it cost to get all the shots done. Is there a specific clinic "travel clinic" at TTSH. Will the embassy accept such endorsement?

I just got my NOA3 and in the process to get all the document, COC and medical done.

Thanks in advance.

There's just 1 travel clinic in TTSH (or any of the said hospitals) Hun I wish I could tell you how much but it's been slightly over a year, it's best you call & check with them on the prices but it's cheaper than Horne&Chin for sure & if I recall right it's cheaper than SGH. Poly clinics do have SOME of the vaccinations required but why go through the trouble of going to different places for all of them. My vaccinations were done in a day (some needed more than 1 dose).

Here's a list of clinics:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/456515-vaccinations-in-singapore/

Yes it is acceptable because you'll give the vaccination booklet to Horne&Chin so that they could fill up DS-3025 for you (& give you a copy of it)

HTH! Good luck

Hi Veepaisal,

Thank you for your prompt reply. One more question, is it ok for me to do the COC and medical check up before I do the DS-160 because I have a free day tomorrow and I can do all this on the same day.
