Thank you Roy&Chanel!

I will do as per your advice. Can I scan my letter of intent and email to my fiance or I should fedex the original letter?

Thank you.

Hey AU, for my case, I signed in ink the original letter and gave it to my husband when he was here. We actually did K1 together in person and he brought back the file. I suggest to FedEx him the original letter, make sure its signed in ink and a bunch of your passport photos since its also on the way, mind as well send together.

How many passport photos did you send in with I-129 Form in G325A? I thought they only require one from you and one from fiancé? That's weird. I sent one too I recalled.

Hi guys, it is imperative for you to understand that if any document you send for K1 which requires either your or your spouse-to-be's signature has to be in original format. No scanned or photocopies will be allowed. If you choose to do the easy way out, chances of your K1 application getting a RFE or denied will be high, thus another unknown period of delay to your travel and wedding plans.

Hi Roy&Chanel,

We sent 1 passport photo each during our submission. I guess it's not good enough as we took it our self using the online app. But I will do a duplicate with proper studio set up and will get the soft copy of them as well for future use.

Thanks for your assistance R&C. :)

Thank you for your advise in this matter. Will be thorough when our next documentation submission takes place.

Hi AU, I can't recall which shop I went to but it was at East point shopping mall in Simei at basement opposite the dough and beside daiso store. I think it is Fotohub, they have a lot of branches, can't recall but they do provide soft copy just bring ur thumbdrive. It's around 16 dollars I think, better than here its 44USD! I still cant get over that haha! Don't DIY again because they might reject, some countries need you to smile, some need you to not smile, and have other requirements, better to go there.

does anyone have experience of aos for k1 being rejected due to civil crime in singapore?

Hi Harvey, don't think so by reading the previous posts. Perhaps try asking in the global threads?

Hey guys, I noticed that Singpass requires OTP verification for password. My Singapore phone number is terminating soon this year, I was told by Singpass CSO that we should inform ICA of our new address and residence. Has anyone of you informed ICA before leaving SG or after leaving SG? Did you guys also update your IC? Would like to know if this is necessary. I need Singpass to access to my CPF and other stuffs.

For the Singpass, only Singapore phone number can be used as OTP verification.

For overseas Singaporean, You should apply for this token:

http://www.onekey.sg/

http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/singpass-beefed-up-with-onekey-token

I registered for this token, which they sent to my Singapore Address. Then I get my Brother to snail mail it to me overseas.

By the way, Overseas Singaporeans must to buy the medishield life insurance, even if you have medical insurance in new country of residence.

So be prepare for the payment.

Here is the petition started by fellow overseas Singapore. So far, the Singapore govt is not responding.

https://www.change.org/p/the-singapore-government-ministry-of-health-singapore-central-provident-fund-singapore-exempt-overseas-singaporeans-from-medishield-life-premiums-8ba456c6-2830-4b2c-af65-b3a5d87c505e

The standard boilerplate:

MediShield Life was introduced to give all Singapore Residents assurance of universal healthcare coverage, for life. As part of this more inclusive approach, all Singapore Residents also contribute to this national risk pool, as part of collective responsibility. This extends to Singapore residents based overseas, as they can also benefit from MediShield Life protection anytime they choose to return to Singapore, regardless of changes to their health condition.

The only way of not paying -> renounce your citizenship. -_-

The Govt already automatically deducts the money from your CPF.

If you don't pay, you might get arrested.

Thanks Merry, I just checked my CPF account, theres not much left to deduct over the years! Really appreciate the info, Im going to sign petition for it! I cant pay on both sides for US insurance and SG!

Hi all. I'm in the US on my K-1 now. Got married last week and am looking to file my AOS. I noticed that the DS-3025 given to me by Horne and Chin has only "Page 1 of 2." Page 2 is missing. Can someone else confirm if they were given Page 2? Also, did you fill out the I-693 for your AOS, or did you just submit the DS-3025? Thanks in advance.

I just received my passport from amarex! Excessively fast, considering the holiday season that just passed.

Congratulations! I just got my noa1 and waiting for noa2. I saw your timelime and took so long before you receive your noa2 compared to other timelines. Previous filers gets their noa2s within 45 days.. did you had rfes or anything happened that made the process that long?

I only had one page too, I submitted DS3025. I don't think I-693 is needed unless more than one year of your medical.

Yes, Horne & Chin will only give you a copy of the DS-3025 (and its a single page).

I-693 is not needed since you have the DS-3025. For my AOS application, I made a copy of the DS-3025 and submitted the copy (of the copy).
