Dear All,

I would like to say my most sincere thank you for all those who have taken the time to reply me. I have passed my interview and just waiting to collect my passport with the visa. May I please ask if at collection, they will include the popular brown envelope? :)

And also, my ceac status says "Visa issued" yesterday however when I tracked my passport at ustraveldocs, it says "no status for the passport submitted". Any ideas, guys?

Did you get aramex to send to you or did you opt for self collection? Either way, yes you will be given the brown sealed envelope for you to hand it to the customs for them to unseal. Generally usatraveldocs website does not update In real time, it will take approx 5-7 working days for you to get your passport issued depending on holidays and "non-working days" of the consulate after it's been approved. If you had opted for aramex to send to you, it will be a courier service, where you'll need to sign for.

HTH and congrats!

Hi Veepaisal,

Thanks so much! I opted for a pick-up at Aramex main office. I was thinking of calling Aramex office tomorrow just in case. Will the passport status actually show under "Document Information" in the cgifederal account? :)

From what I recall, the site does not update IRT, how long ago was it that was approved?? Has it been past a week (7 business days) yet? If no, I'd say wait it out. They're usually spot on - the interviewer told me it will take approx 3-5 business days and my passport did arrive on the 5th business day. So it is a waiting game at the moment but if it has been more than the aforementioned waiting period, do give aramex a call to check?

Hey guys,

To track ongoing and past cases by USCIS, you can create an account at USCIS website, and key in your case numbers and select mobile and email alerts. This will help you to also keep records of your previous and present cases. It is so much easier than going through your receipts, finding the case numbers esp AOS has 3 different numbers for I-485, EAD, AP.

Just received my notifications by sms and email from USCIS that my case has been routed to NBC. Receipt number starts with MSC, hope this is normal. My birthday is coming up, so this is at least somewhat news for me! Hope all goes well!

Good luck everyone!

Hey all!

Just to update: I got packet 3! :D

They tried to deliver it to me on Wednesday 9 dec) but I wasn't home to receive it so I collected it on Thursday from the post office. So I scheduled a medical on Friday and went to get my COC on Friday as well as I was off haha!

I'm so relieved everything is almost ready!

I had a couple more questions, if anyone could help me out at all..:

1) I have the DS-160 confirmation page, payment receipt, and the checklist ready to go, which is what the checklist requires of me. however on the page where I have to sign says that I have to enclose Form I-134 and Medical Examination instructions - does anyone know if I have to send those items together?

2) what is the medical examination instructions? is it just the form that is in packet 3 that lists Horne and Chin as the medical provider?

3)What financial documents do I need to provide(for the interview)? is a bank statement enough?

Hi cosmos,

1) What you need to do is to send them payment receipt (Original, keep a copy for yourself), DS160 Confirmation page, the acknowledge form where it says "enclosures : Form 1-134 and Medical Examinations Instructions" and the check list itself (keep a copy for yourself). It says enclosures not you have to enclose. The form is to confirm that you have received the empty copy of I-134 and medical instructions where you have to bring to clinic for vacinations/checkup.

2) Yes, the medical instructions is the letter that indicates Dr Horne's clinic information. You will be required to make appointment in advance and go there to do your checks. You can go to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Travelers' Clinic to get your vaccinations done because it is cheaper there. Vee recommended me and I saved a lot of money from it.

3) You are required to bring your fiancé's most recent 3-6months paystubs, Employment letter from his employer to show he is in good standing, Tax returns, his bank statements of 3 months (I brought 6 months) and better if you bring your own savings account bank statements and your salary slips too if your fiancé is new to the job or has not work more than a year. And of course Form I-134 for affidavit.

Here is the checklist that I have posted previously, hope it helps.

1) Exact copy of the package I-129F that my fiance sent out (not necessary but I brought because I was Kiasu)

2) I-134 Form with Fiance Signature

3) Fiance's employment letter, pay stubs (3 months), W2 & 1040, Bank statements

4) Letter of Intent to marry both mine and his (Latest date)

5) Updated Chat logs, Skype calls, Emails - The officer did not even look at these

6) Additional Pictures (some that are not included when he filed) - Officer took 3 recent pics

7) Additional Receipts (gifts purchases for him and for me) - The officer did not even look at these

8) My Passport

9) DS160 Confirmation Page

10) COC

11) Medical X-Ray CD/DS3025 - The officer did not even look at these

12) My Birth Cert, Educational Certs, Bank Statements

13) NOA1,2 originals (fiance sent back to me)

14) Packet 4 letter
