Oh dear! I know how you feel exactly Vee! my fiance can be like your hubby at times! haha! I'm trying to organise my evidence of relationship its quite confusing so I have decided to put whatever I-129F as it is when he filed, but including original of boarding passes tickets etc. And as for the updated chat logs, skype calls, emails, gifts, I placed them in the same divider with the pay stubs and COC etc which is placed according to what the list stated in packet 3.

I hope it is all fine! Take good care of yourself Vee, I heard of hurricane Joaquin!

Thanks, Im sure everything would go well for your interview.

Thank you, Joaquin, last I saw the news, was heading towards the eastern sea and luckily we will not be hit. But it has been raining since the day before. Heavy down pour, strong winds, and very cold.... its 6deg cel about 2 hrs ago...now its slightly better (after some hot piping chicken macaroni soup & a hot cup of French Roast)

Take care of yourself too, haze in sg is still quite bad I heard...? My niece & nephew (both just babies) need to wear the N95 masks too :(

Hi fhopper, mine was just last month, I am not sure if everyone is the same but my packet 3 came with registered mail, and my packet 4 came in normal mail in mailbox. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I'm expecting to get my packet 3 soon, so I'll begin to work from home so I don't miss it. I wonder if there's a way to track the packet 3 just like there's a way to track packages from NVC to embassy using DHL's 'track by shippers ID'.

Hi fhopper, the packet 3 envelope is just a normal sized one and it comes by singpost registered for me, my bro was home to pick it up. I am not sure if you will be getting normal or registered, but I don't think you can track through that.

However, you can track it on ceac website, once US embassy receives your petition and send it out to you, you will be able to see "Ready" on the ceac website instead of "In Transit", you will notice there are two dates written on it, look at status updated, usually when they send it out or receive, you will see the date being updated. Or you can email to US embassy IV unit and ask them if they have received the package from NVC.

As for normal mail for packet 4 that I received, its 5 business working days away from the status updated date.

By the way, if you can, do update your timeline! It really helps all Sgreans who are doing K1 alot for referencing :)

Thanks Roy@Chanel. The packet 3 came in today. I've been updating the timeline. The link in the "FEES" section of the packet 3 checklist is http://www.ustraveldocs.com/sg/sg-niv-paymentinfo.asp. On that page, i only see deposit slips for Singapore Post, but don't see any deposit slips for Standard Chartered Bank. Did you use the Singapore Post deposit slip when you went to Standard Chartered bank? That webpage doesn't even mention Standard Chartered Bank. We're thinking of paying at the Singapore Post office when we go to mail out the packet 3 later today. Anyone think it's a bad idea? Why did you choose to pay at Standard Chartered Bank instead of Singapore Post?

Hey fhopper, it seems like there are changes going on with the visa process for SG. I went to the site to take a look, stanchart no longer there and the deposit slip looks different from mine! Just follow what is instructed in the website, cos months ago our payment advice wasn't singpost.

I received my packet 3 two weeks ago and it still instructed me to make payment at Standchart.

Maybe they just changed it this month...

anyways I'm currently waiting for my packet 4...its been 2 weeks since i've sent out the documents for Packet 3 and still no Packet 4 in sight - should I be worried?

I tried calling NVC to set an interview time but they said that they are unable to assist. I have emailed the embassy singaporeCON but no reply as expected.

Any other ideas?? I'm getting anxious as my flight back to the US is scheduled for Nov 29!

Hi junehar,

NVC will not be able to provide you the interview date as the date is arranged by the US embassy of Singapore. It should be arriving soon, don't worry as mine also takes sometime as you can see in my timeline. If you refer to ceac website on the status update, mine changes when packet 4 was sent out, give it 3 business working days from the date.

Hey guys, may I know roughly how long do I have to wait to update the aramex information on cgi website for the delivery? Thanks in advance!

Such a relieve that interview is over, oh yes by the way the embassy do have some changes and updates ongoing, so if information instructed to you is different from ours please do not worry, just follow what the embassy instructs on the packets. Changes so far according to this thread:

1) COC no longer given with envelope

2) Payment advice changes from Stanchart to singpost, SAM

3) Deposit slip looks different

You ought to be able to choose either pick up or deliver on the website the interviewer provided right after the interview...

That is weird, the interviewer didnt give me anything other than the document submission letter but I was asked by first officer if I have registered aramex which i assume it is the cgi website and I did. Went to check but unable to see document delivery information. Perhaps there are changes again?

Oh yes behind the documents submission letter, there is a bold paragraph that states:

Aramex will deliver the documents and/or passport to the Embassy, and your passport will be couriered back to you after visa issuance.

Guess I will have to wait till the ceac website says administrative processing and check back again?

The website on the documents submission letter is ustravelsdocs.com/sg or email to SingaporeCON@state.gov
