I brought them back but I didn't bring them in my carry-on. I dumped them into my luggage and checked them in. What I had with me was the sealed envelope that came from the Embassy.

I'm trying to register an account on cgi.federal website but it keeps prompting me saying that my first name and last name has to be correct, and unable to process. I have inserted my first name and last name correctly. Is there something that I am missing out? Such as I should register the account after interview? I seen previous posts that u guys register before interview. But I couldnt register. I wonder why.

Ok here's the update, it seems like they have created an account for me already. For those who are experiencing the same prob, try forget password. My fiance tried forget password and it did send me a generated password in email. I went in to fill up details such as my passport information (Update profile) and MRV number and select location. Is there anything else I need to do? Do I have to relog back in after the interview if pass?

You will receive a letter from the interviewer on how to arrange for the return of your passport, thats the only thing you need to do after your interview. :) After that, it's just a waiting game for the passport and then you can leave the country!!

Hi all. Does packet 3 come by regular mail, or do they send it by courier? i.e, do we need to be home to sign for it, or will it just appear in the mailbox?

Regular mail hun, it'll be in your mailbox. Same with packet 4 (your interview date). The only thing that comes in courier (if you choose so) would be collection of passport once the visa is approved.

Hey all, may I know how do you arrange your evidence of ongoing relationship for interview?

I have an exact copy of what my fiance filed for I-129F, in a binder file and plastic sheet holders. Do they want the evidence from after what we included in there or they want all of it?

I am not sure if my way of filing is right, but I actually make two files, one is the exact copy of my fiance's I-129F package except mine has ORIGINAL receipts, boarding passes etc.

And the other file which I use the dividers file is from the last date till now updated evidence of chat logs etc, I have also included whatever I am required to bring in the checklist such as bank stuffs, pay stubs, police cert, etc in order according to checklist. And as for photos, I washed around 10 pics, there are more in the I-129F package already, will this be fine?

When I went for the interview, I left the pictures my hubs printed out in his luggage and he had absentmindedly brought it back to the states with him so I just printed it out black and white on paper lol. What's important are the documents your fiance gave you to submit to the interviewer (pay stubs, bank statements, COC, etc)

There really isn't a specific need for you to arrange them in chronological order but it would be good so the interviewer can view through them easily.
