I don't remember the vaccinations she had done, I think 4 total though. It is up to the doctor doing the medical to determine which vaccines are required based on age, health and medical history. Here is a link to the CDC page that talks about vaccine requirements for adults http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/hcp/imz/adult.html

Thanks!! Do you mind sharing the list of vaccinations that were required?

none of the vaccines are required for K1. however, it is advisable to get them done in singapore because they are much more expensive in the US, and they will be required for adjustment of status. these are the required vaccines for adults 18-65 yrs:

1. MMR (even if you have had 2 in your lifetime, they will want to see that you've had one done "recently" or else give you another shot)

2. Tdap - required if you have not had one in the last 10 years

3. Varicella - required if you have not had chicken pox. if you have had chicken pox, you will need to get a titer test instead to test your immunity (clinic will not accept your word for it). of course you can just get the vaccine anyway if you want, especially if you don't have time to wait 1 week to get the results back, but it is more expensive than the titer.

4. Influenza - required only during the annual flu season, i.e. 1 October to 31 March

this thread has a list of clinics where it is cheaper to get vaccinations (prices are listed). someone has also kindly updated the prices as of Nov 2014. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/456515-vaccinations-in-singapore/

I have just gone for my interview, had no idea why I was so nervous but it was a breeze! There werent many questions asked too but at the end of it, I wasn't asked to take an oath (as what Kitthekat was called up to do) but had my finger prints taken for the application... Did anyone else go through the same as I?

Hi, sending back packet 3 today. Just need to confirm one thing - for the payment receipt from standard chartered, do we mail a photocopy of the receipt and bring the original to the interview, or do we mail the original receipt? Thanks in advance!

the "oath" they had me go back for was to simply have me affirm that everything i submitted in the application was true and then take my fingerprints a second time. it sounds like you completed everything fine. :)

I know my fiancée was really nervous prior to the interview but everything went great. We overlooked the requirement for the document from the Singapore Marriage Bureau since she is Filipino but once we supplied that they issued the visa within a couple of days. I'll be flying to Singapore in 18 days to accompany her back to the USA. Such a relief to have this part of the journey completed.

Hi all, I sent my packet 3 back on 30 Jan. And on 3 Feb, my CEAC status was updated. It didn't say anything besides that my case was updated on 3 Feb. I'm assuming that an interview date was scheduled then, but I have yet to receive packet 4 in the mail :( any advice? I am worried that it got lost in the mail somehow.

it takes some time from them receiving packet 3 to setting a date. my CEAC status updated when they received packed 3 that i sent back to the embassy. took about a month for them to schedule an interview date - at that point my CEAC status updated again.

but if you're really worried that it got lost in the mail you can always email the IV unit to see if a date has been set yet.

It probably has a lot to do with how busy they are. My fiancee mailed packet 3 to the embassy on Nov 28 and received packet 4 on Dec 5, exactly 1 week later.
