Hi I'd like to ask, would we have to call the US Embassy up to schedule an interview date or would we be notified of when THEY have scheduled one for us? And if its the latter, would they call us to let us or a letter be sent to us?

they will send you a letter with your interview date (also known as packet 4). if they have a slot that opens up due to a cancellation, they may call you to ask if you would like to attend. usually such slots are only available on short notice and very rarely given out. you will most likely receive a letter in the mail.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Thank you for the info kitthekat, my fiance made a big hoohaa about me not calling to schedule an interview when he said the website said so.

Therefore Im confused if I should or should not call to schedule an interview on my own.

Can anyone advise what's the average turnaround for one to receive an interview date? I have sent packet 3 return yesterday and the embassy should have received it today.

I have sent my packet 3 back on Monday and the embassy received it on Wednesday. I'm hoping to receive packet 4 by end of next week hopefully (fingers crossed)

Congrats to you too!! I dont think I would want to go for the interview until I receive all my necessary documents (Thai Police Certificate & medical) to submit on the day itself so I emailed them to request a change of interview dates (a week later) hopefully they can do something about it or else it would suck after having the interview, and I gotta wait a while more to have the docs to be submitted to them. :(

Was informed by Horne and Chin that the medical reports will only be e-submitted within 5-7 working days -_-.

What time is your interview?

Hi, I completed my interview today and I was instructed to register a profile at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com for Aramex services.

I have started creating my profile and I reached the stage at which I was asked to enter my receipt number. After entering the receipt number, the next screen just tells me that "no appointment available" and I am stuck on that screen (no continue). I am not sure if my profile has been successfully created.

Can anyone who registered their profile advise please?

Thanks a lot.

When you select the New Application/Schedule Appointment link, select the IV Register Address button on the next page. Scroll past all the other visa types till you find the section for fiance visas, click that and then K1. Since you've already entered your other information it should populate most of the information. Add anything missing then go to the next page to add your address. The last page is a confirmation of your delivery address

Hi everyone! Our case just left the NVC and is on the way to Singapore consulate. Once received, does the embassy send it to the beneficiary address listed on the I-129F petition directly? Or do you have to call and ask about it? :) So glad to see the process moving along after waiting 6+ months for our NOA2

Once the embassy receives it they will send a packet to the beneficiary that describes the next steps. It took a week for the embassy to show it received from the NVC and it took another week from the time the CEAC status showed the embassy received it until my fiancée received the packet 3.

Thank you! I'm preparing the evidence to be brought to the interview right now, I frontloaded our petition heavily with skype records, whatsapp chats and photos. Should I assume that the interviewer has not seen this evidence and bring everything along, or should I only pick up the skype records and whatsapp chats where I left off? E.g Petition evidence had skype records from July 2011 to May 2014, should I bring only June 2014 - Jan 2015 skype records, or July 2011 - Jan 2015 skype records.

They will have the complete petition package that was submitted. Singapore will typically ask for additional photos that were not submitted as part of the original petition. Beyond that they don't ask for much additional evidence. Just make sure the packet is review completely and the all required documents are collected, they will ask for those.

Thanks Mike & Lin for your help!

Wondering if anyone here had to get vaccinations done before/during your medical? I'm looking through the list and unforunately I'm missing about 4 vaccines. Planning to get them done asap, just wondering if anyone had problems with vaccines needing to be given in doses spread out over months? Don't want this to get in the way of getting the visa.
