Former president Jimmy Carter said President Obama’s signature health-care law and its botched rollout have fallen short of expectations. “His major accomplishment was Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best,” he told Parade magazine in an interview for Sunday’s issue.

As for Obama’s record after 5 years in office, he’s “done the best he could under the circumstances,” Carter said.

I was watching a documentary on the Chiefs of staff of many Presidents the other day. It was apparent Carter had the only staff, that held him in disdain. The basically portrayed him as an arrogant incompetent jackwad, that would not allow anyone to advise or disagree with him.

I think O is worse, yes.

Why? Besides being an arrogant jackwad, Carter did very little which lasted beyond he final day in office. Other than the stupid 55 mph national speed limit and the hostages which were released as Reagan was inaugerated...what was left? Inflation and unemployment came under control pretty fast when a leader took office.

Obama, on the other hand, has given us a total eff'd up mess that will likely take decades to fix. When the Dems that have to be elected bail out on his Democare, where does that leave the people already canceled? This Democare is anything BUT universal, it is not fair at all (Really? "Platinum" plans which cover more costs for people that can afford to pay more costs? So as usual the "rich" get a better deal, the middle class is expected to pay for it, and Walmart gets exempted? For something that is a "right"????) In reality the "rich" will not sign up, they will not pay a penalty because they will make sure they do not get a refund. Only people stupid enough to loan the government interest free money get penalized...another brilliant move by Obama

Also I NEVER saw anything, anywhere in the world to match Obama's "defenders" who say "He didn't know about that" #######!!!!!!!!!!!!! In 1980 the voters were not yet so stupid to excuse the man they elected to know these things... for not knowing them. Did you ever see layer upon layer of Carter Administration Secretaries raising their hands and say "I don't know" 13 gazillion times? No way.

Also, I think I will vomit the next time I hear "It was Bush's fault" when we elected Obama to FIX that, and he has failed miserably. I can say that Obama's supporters are more ignorant than Carter's and have much lower standards of expectation. I mean, the football coach sucks, so you fire the football coach and get a new one to fix the problems of the old one...the new one sucks WORSE after 5 seasons and you still blame the old one? THEN when the new football coach says he sucks because he "doesn't know anything about football" and neither do any of the assistant coaches...You say..."OH! OK , that explains it, it's not your fault"
