I was wondering if anybody knows where to call to find out the status of our petittion and get some question answered. We are at the Texas Service Center.

101days in and we got our NOA2 last nigh! So happy and such a relieve!

It's still too early to get any answers. Many have called and no one told them anything. Before the 5 months processing time is up, there's really nothing you can do but continue to wait. :(

Thanks a lot for your support SparklePony. But it is just getting very frustrating my Fiance just spend a month here with me and our son and now he has to go back to the US again and i think it just made us realize how much we missed each other and just want that whole process to be over. Also do i want to make sure that we don't have to fill out any additional forms for our son since he is just born this month .

But i guess i will have to wait a couple more weeks .

I understand the frustration. I haven't seen my fiance since the summer and we miss each other terribly, but there's really nothing we can do about it. It really is just a waiting game - I wish I could make it better somehow, but there's nothing anyone can do.

As for your son, congratulations! You will need to register him at the Embassy and get him his own American passport. That's really all I know about it - take a look around VJ, I'm sure there's lots of information on this.

It sounds as if the fiance (beneficiary) is coming from overseas, while the USC (petitioner) had the baby in the US.

Thank you for the response. The child was born in germany and we already scheduled a appointement for tomorrow actually to get the passport done. But i thought there was more tgat has to be done.

It seems that the cases 4 - 5 SRC#s before mine were all I-129Fs that received RFEs.. Think I'm in an RFE pile somewhere? If so, I wish they would just send it already!!

Just wanted to put it out there that we're at approx. 5 months, 3 weeks (September 2013 filer crashing the November thread, sorry!), and I've been told repeatedly that we don't have a RFE or anything of the sort and that it's just a matter of time. The party line is actually that TSC is currently processing mid/late-September petitions, though looking at the approvals that seems like the tail end for sure...

Anyway, I know that's not necessarily the answer you're hoping for but just to tell you that - as far as I have been able to surmise - it does not necessarily mean that there's a problem, especially not at the point your at!
