Just curious, if USCIS sends any notification that they send the case to NVC? Or only thing to do now is waiting few days and calling NVC asking for the case number?

Received visa today! So happy, grateful and lucky to complete this so much quicker then we anticipated. Words cannot express. I am still pulling for everyone here for quick approvals. Just a plane flight away now.

I received a notification it had been sent, and my case status also changed on the USCIS website.

Yea, i created the account on USCIS as well. That's how I got the NOA1, Alien registration # change, and NOA2 notifications as well.

So you are saying that i should also expect a notification from USCIS for when they send out our petition to NVC, correct?

just wondering if you had it expedited? We filed on same dates and are waiting for NOA2. Any insights will help

Sorry for such a late reply and no we didnt apply for any expedites or such. I guess we just got lucky, stay strong.

Guys today i go on CEAC website and it says the following message:

READY

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

What i'd like to know is that how would they send packet 3 and packet 4 to my Fiance when they dont even have his e-mail address or any contact? (that what it said on NVC letter i recieved that they'd contact my Foreign Fiance for the interview and send him packages)

On the forms of the initial packet, there were places to put in your fiance's snail mail address. That's how they send Packets 3 and 4. Through physical mail, not through e-mail.

Maybe its different for each country but we never recieved packet 3 or 4 and have visa in hand now. We did the DS-160 online and that was all that was needed besides the fee to set interview. I hope this helps

I think you missed out most of the steps that you must have gone through call the embassy to verify and have the all procedures done before you get denied on your interview.

We never called the embassy, I think the point of my post is being missed. The old DS forms were sent in the packet and needed to be filled and returned. I was unsure if this was still necessary because the DS-160 was online. The point is, at least in the case of phillipines, receiving packet 3 was not required, my guess is because the new form. Purely informational for those that don't know as I was worried that we needed it but didn't
