Well according to VJ I should be getting my NOA2 notice today.. LOL... Not holding my breath!!!

Hi there, If u dont know the Texas Service center has slower processing time, u can find the propate date at USCIS website, checking visa status under Proccesing time. i think u can swap ur service center to California, if you are unsatisfied. I always check my USCIS and not always got the right update from them, enven we are standing before the Interview satus. just have to fill out I 134 and DS 2000 files.

Wishing u good luck, and there is alternative centers to processing ur visa.

I am feel so sorry... I think all of this paperwork is kind of bad.. waiting ..waiting.. being separeted.. it does inflected my behaviour to. I have to do a lots of GYM, and excersise to get back my balance ,and patience.

I do not think you can switch your service center upon command like that.. and the website probably just says 5 months like everything else, though we know for many it has been much less

Nope... Me and my fiance are lumped in there with you, sparklepony, and others.

This really does suck waiting while it seems as if others are moving quickly like they are moving through a revolving door while our door has the safety lock on it.

We both want to start our lives together so badly.

It is so frustrating, not even being able to plan anything.

When i called up, I got in touch with an immigration officer in USCIS.

He stated that it was sent out on Dec 23rd, 2013 and is currently undergoing background checks.

When i asked how long it might take they stated anywhere from a couple weeks to several months.

So pretty much.... USCIS has no friggin idea how long... Arrrgghh

While this is the best time to know each other even more and better cause I just seen many people going through separations and divorce months after their marriage or even days,so get to know each other better no worries.Still waiting though discovering many things though that I didn't know .

We are planning to start a family as soon we can but thats a difficult thing to plan for at the moment.

Did you get anything in the mail about your expedite request? You should've gotten a hard copy acknowledging your request and more explanation in that letter.

If not, you should call USCIS call center back and confirm they got your information correctly and specifically ask if the request was approved or not.

I actually did call for an expedite on dec 13 and the expedite was approved but from then, no update on anything.

We have a unique situation. We backed out of our original K-1 processing back in 2013. Both of us needed to step back and make positively sure this is what we both wanted. In our previous attempt, our NOA1 was in October 2012 and didn't receive an RFE until June 2013. That's when we decided to drop the whole thing and marry in the Philippines instead. However, work interfered and I could not make the trip. So, after much back and forth and interaction; we decided to rededicate ourselves to one another. It doesn't matter how long it takes. I love my Cecille. I applied for her fiancee visa with a NOA1 on November 1, 2013.

We have both decided that however long it takes; however many obstacles we have to overcome with both our governments, we "are" going to be together. As a healthy male, it is not easy to be celebate, but I am very faithful to her. We will both jump through the seemingly "unfair" hoops that we have to knowing that eventually we will be together forever.

Faith and confidence in one another is not a easily obtained character trait. But we both have it in one another. So, let the USCIS investigate, interrogate and procrastignate. Cecille and I are one and we both know it.
