This is for the K2 visa right? I know in the Philippines, it's the same fee as the fiance K1 visa. Not sure if the country you are filing in has different fees but they must be paid separately.

question for anyone that knows....My fiance is bringing her daughter with her.... At the interview how much money does she pay for her visa? How much for her daughter ?

As far as I know, K2 visa fees are the same amount as the K1 fee. The children also need to do the medical, and if they're older than 16 they will also need a police record. Hope this helps.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

My question is is this a must?

Wow! That's awesome. Congratulations!

You are about a week ahead of us as far as when you got your NOA2 approved. We are also at California. And she's from the Philippines. Is it fair to say I should be expecting to move this quickly too?? When you say you rescheduled your interview, what do you mean? Can you give more details or advice?

Thank you! My first interview was April 3, then I reschedule it to Jan 29. then suddenly just last night there was available one slot for Jan 6, so I grab it..

The K1 schedule appointments now is really terrible,, all sched from Jan to April are full, so you need to checked it always if possible every minute just like I did.. coz you need to be fast lot of people checking the interview dates too from time to time...

Ok. That makes sense. So you first just scheduled the appointment for April, and then there is a way to look for openings and if you see one you can just contact them and reschedule?

CONGRATS!!! This seems like really good news but it begs the question of what the heck is going on with CSC??? I too called and asked about this glitch and was assured that there was no glitch. I guess the point is that we just have to wait and eventually we will here something from someone lol wow.gif

Yes I'm wondering what is going on with CSC, seriously I was not in the know. Glitch or not I just hope everything will be fine and well at the CSC.

Tears of joy Im so happy for you.

Definitely, I couldn't believe what I was reading in my email inbox after I just posted a reply on VJ. I was just shock and in disbelief and I cried because it's been a long time since I saw my fiancé and that email brought my hopes and reality to life that I will be back with my fiancé's arm soon. I need him physically here with me. *sigh*

Another emotional roller coaster due to this glitch! Congrats!!! smile.png

Definitely an emotional roller coaster, I was waiting and wondering my approval was past due ... immigration officers told me that it was still pending. Until I told them I received a notice from the US Embassy in Seoul about my petition arriving there and that I have a case number with NVC. I requested a hard copy of the visa petition approval and I asked when was my I-129F petition approved ... she told me Nov 22nd ... and I got the NOA1 notice on Nov 15. Definitely a fast approval. smile.png I worked hard on that petition application and compiling things together and that application was thick as a telephone book that depicted my relationship with my fiancé.

Everyone of my Nov 2013 Filers ... hope you're having a great holiday, I'm enjoying my holiday break right now. New year is coming up and I hope to see more and more approvals and great news to come for this coming new year. Let's continue to support and help each other! Can't thank you guys enough! heart.gif 2014 is our year where we will be definitely be back with our love ones soon.

힘내세요 ... 화이팅!!!! 팍팍!
