I don't know but all these people frantically calling the USCIS and talking about being approved but not having any notification is starting to make me worry.

VJ still says I shouldn't expect an NOA2 response any sooner than the 20th.. which is Friday. I was not really concerned about the process because I knew it would take some time but after reading all these posts they are starting to instill fear and doubt into me!

For what its worth my NOA2 took longer than what VJ listed. I think its a little too early to start worrying.

I certainly agree that if calling will give you peace of mind then you definitely should call. biggrin.png To say however, that most filers in our group have been approved isn't quite accurate. I ran a report showing all Visa Journey member's with timelines filed from 2013-11-01 to 2013-11-30 and there were 141. All members within this time frame report having received NOA1 however only 35% (49) have reported receiving NOA2. Again this information is provided by Visa Journey and is strictly contingent upon people updating their timelines so I have no clue what the margin of error is related to this information.

I know that for me it certainly felt like everyone in our group has been getting approved and hopefully the USCIS continues to speed up, but please feel somewhat at ease with the fact that you aren't alone and the process seems to be moving along at the pace outlined by USCIS if not a little bit more quickly. yes.gif

My VJ predictions are all over the place. A couple of days ago, the last day of the estimate had already passed, now it's the 21st. I do think the expedites affected it somewhat, but we might be getting back on track.

How are you checking these stats?

Under the menu option "Immigration Timelines" there is an option called "Time line search", you can use this to search for the totals on timelines based on whatever criteria you put into the menu options. Here is a link http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php?cfl=%C2'>

So when I searched I used the criteria "Visa Type" = K1 and I-129F dates sent from 2013-11-01 to 2013-11-30 this then provided me with A LOT of statistical information for users with timelines reported as having sent an I129-F within the month of November biggrin.png

So ... I called Immigration to get some more information about my case and since my petition is at the California Service Center I wanted to speak to an immigration officer to see if my case was one of the ones that were affected by the computer glitch. Unfortunately no. sad.png Of course I asked the immigration officer why have some people who filed after me or around the same time as me got quick approval and I haven't. He said just ignore people's approval, not everyone is the same case. I have to wait 5 months the normal processing time after filing to start being concerned.

But I notice that on VJ it says CSC is currently processing NOA1 date of November 12th right now, *sigh* ... I am November 15th and of course the holidays are coming around so I'm sure I won't hear anything immediately. *sigh* The agony. sad.png짜증나!!!

Funny thing is my co-worker told me she had a dream that I was talking to immigration and my petition was approved. lol Unfortunately her prediction was wrong.

Unfortunately guys I think we were all very very spoiled by seeing a few early approvals. We should be more realistic here and expect a 5 month wait period.. It has already been a month since my NOA1 almost so that means only 4 more at the most))

The officer was right to ignore other peoples approvals)) it is just so hard to do so when people come here and spam the board with a million dancing smileys about their NOA2 approval))))))

We will all get there eventually, just hang on tight and enjoy the day!!

Very true.....the folks getting approved fast may have straight forward cases....who knows...no idea what a petition goes through to get the NAO2, but some petitions may be easier and faster than others, I wish I knew exactly what they did that causes the difference in timelines. Some people wait more than 5 months only to find they been approved after they gave up hope, others roll right thru fast...being able to see everyones progress gives us a false perception of what the reality truly is.

My case is pretty straight forward, both of us have no kids and never been married before. I have more than enough information in there to show that we have met and have a legitimate relationship. I triple checked all our documents and made sure everything was as in order as possible.

I think it is all just luck of the draw, which agent picks up your file and how fast they process things.
