yes...you are expedited....so your case will move fast...a friend of mine who they expedited had his fiance in the states in 4 months from the day he mailed the K1 application in. Your Lucky!

So that number that they gave me do I have to use it ? It's like a reference number for the expedite ?

Not sure but yes it sounds like its a reference number for your expedite case for tracking purposes....if you call or contact them in a letter definitely let them know your case was approved for expedite on the date they told you it was approved for expedite and give them the number they gave you.....as well as any other number/info you have so theres no confusion....but you should be good dont worry, it will move faster now.

I used to live in Manila for 1.5 years and I can attest to that. The amount of traffic they get on any given day is crazy. Strong majority of that traffic, I would say is for B1/B2 tourist visas and the rest for the fiance or spouse visas. If I was a consular officer, I would not want to work at that embassy! But, could be worse...

That is specific for the Manila Embassy. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of petitions they get and process.

Hello,
I sent my package to the Dallas Lockbox on 11/14. I got the NOA2 on 12/12! Although I am not receiving email notifications, I have been checking on the USCIS case status page.

I have some questions on the next step with the NVC. What are the next steps after receiving a NOA2?

Yeah, we were surprised that got approved quite fast :) The thing is the less you expect and get stressed about the sooner all is resolved! Hope you get your case approved soon too! I've seen guys at TSC got recently approved, so hope all who are awaiting will get good news soon!

Ahh!!

Hey Guys! Africa in the house... mostly because I have some bad news. Got a RFE *duh duh duhhhh*. :( I'm freaking out and perusing the web for info--- came across this great website and hope I can find some inside scoop and support here.

I was also a November filer. Below is my progress thus far.

Oct 2013 - Sent form I-129F sometime towards the end of October (not sure of the exact date)

Nov 20 - NOA1 received

Dec 13 - RFE mailed from Service Center

Whomp, whomp. Does anyone know if an RFE indicates they will make a decision sometime soon? I'm hoping and praying that once I send the evidence, whatever it may be, they'll be prompted to pay more attention to my case and make a decision soon.

Also, I'm currently out of the country (with my fiancé in Sierra Leone) and was wondering if anyone has some advice for making the most out of calling the service center-- for instance, how might I get through to an agent quickly, and is there any way they'll give me detailed info about the RFE by phone since I'm not home to check the mail? These long-distance calls are getting expensive. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

RFE isn't always bad. If its something small and not technical then it will most likely get accepted within a week after sending the response of RFE. RFE means you're case was getting adjusdicated and now its in a pile that will get looked at again after it recieves a response.
