For the affidavit of support (and the rest of the next package actually), we are waiting on NOA2 to start everything.

Maybe it will be too short but I don't know if we will need dates on it, if so I wouldn't want the dates to be 'old'.

We are just going to have my fiance financial support !

Ah right ^^ That's what we'll do too, then :P

We'll be using a co-sponsor as we have a household of 5 to factor in, but we'll only get started on the paperwork once we get the NOA2, as well.

My fiance would sponsor me but I think he makes a little bit under the limit (125% limit thing, but above the 100%) , so his parents are willing to co-sponsor for us ^^ I was told here on VJ that London consulate might accept the 100% limit though! But either way we should be fine :P

Our hard copy didnt have the alien registration number on it sad.png

How did you guys know it was changed? Is it the text/email thingy??

thx

Did your hard copy have a code on it? For example mine started with WAC and then a bunch of numbers after it? If you have that, you can go onto the USCIS website and check your case status and sign up for updates ^^ We got an email about the alien registration number changing :)

I am also hoping that the whole process wont take too long. I am a bit worried about all the papers that we will have to fill out and since i am also pregnant we will have to fill out some additional forms and i am just hoping that all works out so the forms are properly for the baby and also for me .

But besides that all should go smoothly ... hopefully.

Ideally i would like to go back to the US early late summer next year but i am not too sure if everything will be through by then.

Hi !! And congratulations on the pregnancy !! dancin5hr.gif

How far are you in your pregnancy ? smile.png

Which additionnal papers are you talking about for the baby and when in the process are you going to fill them ?

Thank you all for the Congratulations on my Pregnancy.

@Pheeni &Von : I am almost 27 weeks pregnant. The Additional papers are for the Baby but that is only needed once it is born it seems like then the Baby has to be added to all the Papers so hopefully that goes smooth .

Oh that is so awesome even though I know how tough it is to live those special moments far away from your loved one :(

I hope your pregnancy goes well.

I am asking because I just found out I am pregnant (9 weeks) but as we already sent the papers, we are kind of lost..

Congratulations on your Pregnancy. Hope everything goes well with your pregnancy too. But as far as i found out you don't have to worry until the baby is born . And once it is born it is also a good idea to do the Consular Report of Birth abroad assuming you give birth outside the us you can also get the Passport and social security # for your baby done once it's born so you won't have to worry by entry to the us.

I can understand that. It is not easy being apart. I am used to see my Fiance every day we lived together until September when i went back to Germany. And it is hard but i think it's all for the better we all will be together with our Loves very soon .

Being apart sucks. We use Skype all the time, and we both have an app for our iPhones (Couple) so we keep in touch constantly, but it's still so hard to be apart. :( I wish my fiance and I could be together at least once before my visa is issued, but the plane tickets are so expensive. :( And because he is employed full time, and I have two kids, coordinating times for travel is so much more complicated. I just keep thinking that in the end it will all be worth it and we'll finally be able to be together for good.

Congrats on the pregnancies!

I was given the advice to start the affadavit as early as I could and we sent it with all the other applications in one package. But ours was tricky as we had to do two, if yours is simpler it shouldnt take long to do, whenever you start.

16th October 2013: Application Sent

31st October 2013: Email and Text message NOA1

5th November 2013: Physical NOA1 in mail

6th November 2013: Appointment Notice Letter for Biometrics

22nd November 2013: Request for further information

29th November 2013: Biometrics taken
