I still don't know where to get my medical done... not a lot of info for Portugal and a lot of the Paris info on here is in french (pet peeve of mine). I know I can get the medical done here, which is a relief. I've done some search on the police certificate and ours are valid for 3 months, so no use getting it done ahead of time. The waiting game is just so sucky, but I understand there's really no other way of doing it. I can't even imagine how boggled down in work they are, and most of times I just remind myself that to them, I'm just a name on a file, no more special than any other name on another file.

But it does suck... :(

Yeah :( well hang in there. A year from now we'll all be sorted hopefully :) and there will be some other poor souls starting the process. That's strange about the place certificate. Ours is for a year I believe.

mm82 as compared to TSC filers CSC filers seem to be getting more and faster approvals/responses. This is however based on the VJ members that are posting as with everything there are always exceptions to the rule. We are all in the waiting game regardless of where we file we are at the mercies of the USCIS agents processing our cases. For now all we can do is to keep hoping and praying and offer as much support and consolation to each other as possible. I wish you the best of luck in your journey.

Completely aside the subject matter at hand, finalempress, I was looking at your signature, does anyone else use the app Couple? It's the main form of communication for me and my fiance, when we can't Skype, but I have never seen anyone else mention it here on VJ. I absolutely love it.

Not really. Here's the website: Couple. It's an app specifically for couples as you match your app to only one other person's (as opposed to any other messaging app).

All throughout the day, when he's at work (I work from home so I'm always available to talk on Skype), we'll send each other messages. We trade pictures and icons and whatnot, all through Couple, and because it's just between me and him, it feels very personal and intimate to me. Like I said, I really love it, and it's become a fabulous communication tool between us. Heck, even my children know when I get a message on Couple, and they know it's from him.

I am just trying to stay busy so I am not completely preoccupied with it ClockWatch2.gif Just saying I hear you and feel the same frustration. We use Viber (I have an iPhone and my fiancé has an Android, but I know it's apparently on Blackberry too! And you can like use it on your PC too)

It's a really nice app. You can message, send little stickers, pictures and videos. It's really reliable but the only downside is that the calls start to decline in quality if your phone is only on 3G.

But we really love it! Before Viber we used Ebuddy XMS, but we changed to Viber because Ebuddy XMS didn't have a call function :P

My fiance and I have an app called Line. It is great because since my fiance works in IT and is available for both a smartpbone and the computer, she can still talk to me while she is working on her laptop at work because it is also available for PC.

Since she doesn't have to text using her cell, we can talk and no one knows she is talking to me! Awesome!

Thank you so much! :) But I check other people's timeline in the data base, only a few got their NOA2, I saw a couple from Philippines get their approved fast, maybe because they had it expedited due to the typhoon. But never the less I am waiting patiently. :( I keep praying and praying ... I miss my fiance so much and at times I get separation anxiety because we use to live with each other when I was living and working in Korea. *sigh* So it's been hard, but he's been trying to keep me think positive and strong ... I love him for that. I wish you luck in being sooner with your love one. :)
