service center and we received our NOA1 on 30th October 2013. we

got our NOA2 on 15th November 2013. Now we are waiting for the

case number to proceed. I joined both the October and November filers. anyone has any idea when the nvc will assign a case number?

The usual wait time is 4-6 weeks but i see you are already surpassing it but due to USCIS approving cases faster than they can send it to NVC the wait time for getting a case number is getting bigger.

After carefully reviewing September and October filers topic i notice a trend from USCIS, "accept/deny application fast and then take your time with sending the file to NVC"

hopefully you get assigned soon,do let us know when you get ur Case number assigned. :)

I suggest for those who are waiting for their case number, keep sending emails 3-5 times a day the NVC bout ur case number. In few days you'll get a message from them saying they will be the one going to follow up ur petition from uscis.. Just like wat happened tp us.. Or instead inquiry direct follow up to nvc research center.. Its more fast their process to locate ur petition good luck to us

did you seriously get approved in just 11 days? You might have broken a record there..

edit: also you already got your Case Number within 10 days of its approval? You are one lucky couple.

Emailed NVC a few days ago and got a reply this morning. They haven't recieved ours yet, told us to wait 8 weeks after approval date :P so we will contact them again in a few weeks. Hopefully everyone else waiting for their NVC case number gets them soon.

And hoping you all waiting for NOA2 get it before Christmas/New year ^^

If anyone else would like to contact NVC and see if they've received their approved petition yet, here is what I did ^^

Email: NVCInquiry@state.gov

In your subject line write your USCIS receipt number (So if you're at California service center, it'll start with WAC... for example)

In the message, write the following:

-Petitioner's full name and date of birth

-Beneficiary's full name and date of birth

-Write the petition it is regarding (so for us, I-129f fiancé/e petition)

-Write your USCIS receipt number and service center

Then ask them any questions you have :) I got a response after 3 days. Got told to wait 8 weeks after my approval date but hopefully it'll be sooner than that! good.gif

Am I the only one who wonder if the I-134 will be invalid if filled out now and use with the interview on the other side of New Year's Eve? Since it has an expiration date of 12/31/2013.

I saw the expiration date as well and got confused. But I think forms have a time period where they would still be accepted after they expired. I THINK?

I suggest for those who are waiting for their case number, keep sending emails 3-5 times a day the NVC bout ur case number. In few days you'll get a message from them saying they will be the one going to follow up ur petition from uscis.. Just like wat happened tp us.. Or instead inquiry direct follow up to nvc research center.. Its more fast their process to locate ur petition good luck to us

I called this week, no case number (week 3). I'll call again this week.... (week 4). Hopefully better news!
