November 2013 filers?

On November 27, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I do not feel surprised over the time, since past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. Hang in there everyone.

Soooo I was checking the I-134 form and I happened to notice it expires the last day of this year... 0_o

Does this mean we can't start filling the form until the issu one? Since our interview will most likely be early next year or so... Or will they still accept the form?! @_@

How does an I-134 Expires exactly? I thought it was an Affidavit of Support with no timelimit.

If you mean your NOA2 it doesnt matter if it expires you can still give an interview on that without any problem, its a widely accepted practice but you could ask it in your region section to get a confirmation as to how your consulate handles it,

I got my email notice yesterday so I guess that would be considered NOA-1

Hard copy should be here soon I hope, with the receipt notice number I quickly went to the USCIS website and signed up for text and email notifications, and checked on the status of our pettion

It's in the "Initial Review stage, estimated to be completed by Dec31-Jan8 2014

So the clock is ticking and the nail biting begins, what esle can we do to pass the time??

I think all forms have an expire date on them I would think it can be used because your submitting the application within the time before it expires. I have also read that they continue to accept old forms, so you should be fine..

Hi, just wanted to ask did you end up sending a request to expedite? Any update? I am thinking about doing this too even though it's for K1, I am thinking there is no harm in trying but I am confused as there are mixed opinions on this forum about the expedite request. salamat po

good morning kabayan. if F beneficiary is residing anywhere in the Philippines you can request for expedite.

I filed my K1 few days before Yolanda landed to the island/s.

6NOV--uscis received K1 app.

8NOV-NOA1

13NOV-"ER" Expedite Request.

25NOV-NOA2

Kung kailangan mo ng tulong send me ng msg. Highly recommend you to Join "Asawa World" in Facebook. There's alot of members there that can assist irt K1/CR1.

Errr No.... Forms have expiration dates on them. As in the USCIS/NVC renews them every so often. So No I do not mean my NOA2....

Congrats for those of you who received the NOA2 ,wishing you well for the next step. I have a bad Thanksgiving my fiance has been poisoned and he had to spend 2 days in the hospital for blood Transfusion It's really sad and heartbreaking to learn that their people that want him dead while I want him alive I love him so much .
