I am a little worry about RFE. I followed the guideline to the teeth and I have all documents. The only thing that worries me is the G-325A and Intent to Marry paper work.

G-325A Form

I filled out the form for my fiancé and then emailed it to her for her to sign. She then may a copy and sent it back to me.

I'm not sure if she should of snail mail me the form instead of emailing me it because now the signature is a copy. I hope I don't get RFE for that.

Also when she sent it back to me, some of the font was very light. I filled it in with a pen so hope I don't get RFE for that as well.

On my G-325A, I put my parents birthday as unknown because I don't know it. Wonder if I will get an RFE for it. Yes I don't know it and I won't ask for it because we have very shaky relationship (Long Story).

Letter of Intent to marry

Same as above. I sent her the document and she signed it and emailed it back to me. I am wondering if she should of snail mail it to me because the signature is consider a copy.

I don't know. I am worry and crosses my finger on this. Also I really hope to get my NOA1 in a week or so and 30-50 days for the NOA2 would be great. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst....

Pete

Hi :)

I am PRETTY sure that ALL signatures must be originals, at least that's what I have read. Doesn't matter if the rest is a copy as long as the signature is in ink. So, I'd recommend, like otter said, have your fiance get you some originally signed forms just in case... It'd make it faster if you do get an RFE.

Also, and this is just an idea, if you don't want to ask for your parents B-days XD you could check your birth certificate (On mine it says my parents date of birth I wouldn't know in a US one).

I hope it all goes well.... :)

We sent in the original signed G-325 i sent it to my Fiance filled out and signed, and he filled out his forms and signed it thats how we sent it in. I also heard of people sending in copies of the form so i assume you should be fine.

But i understand your worries since the day we sent out our petition i am constantly thinking about if we put everything in and if we did it right. We also forgot to add the G-1145 form so it will take longer until we know what is going on.

But we all have to stay positive and just think that all will work out.

Just be patient, we will all get there! :) I am still waiting on the hard copy of the NOA1. :P

I'm a bit concerned about getting an RFE also! For the passport style photos we both followed the guides to take your own photos on the US passport site, hopefully they are good enough, but if not I guess that means an RFE sad.png I also think that we might get an RFE because I filled out my G-325a wrongly in the employment section

As for yours, i think they do PREFER original copies. You could ask her to mail you the original copies instead, just in case, and then if you did get an RFE, you'd already have them ready to mail to USCIS smile.png but I really hope it'll be okay and that you get accepted first try! Good luck ^^

Its a shame about the G-1145 sad.png but you'll get the paper copies soon enough I think! ^^ And haha I've been worrying non stop, but I'm sure we'll all be fine tongue.png

good luck everybody! fingers crossed we all get out NOA2's real fast (and NOA1s if we havent already!) i'm following the topic so i can support you guys! biggrin.png

For the pictures we actually went to one of those photo places and they are used to taking and printing US passport styled pictures. (We were together in Peru when we filled all the paperwork).

But I am sure you did fine. :)

Anyway! :) Let's hope for a fast process - As I eat Greek yogurt xD

Thanks for the Info! I will check my birth cert. I do have that and I will check. If i get REF for that then i can update it asap. I'll update the paperwork when my fiancee goes to the interview.

I am a little worry about the Signature. She signed it with blue pen and when i print it out, it didn't look like a copy so i'm crossing my finger on that. I'm going to visit her in Dec 2013 so i can get her original signature right away. If I get a REF on that then I won't be able to reply to it until i come back to the states (jan 20). I wonder how much time we have to reply to the REF.

Does anyone know how many days you have to respond to a ref?

I am a little worry because I sent my package a few days ago and I will traveling to see my fiancé from December 3rd to January 20th 2014.

I am afraid that if I get an rfe, I won't have enough time to respond to the rfe.

I heard it was 30 or 60 days. If it is 30 days then I will be worry.

Here is my thoughts. I expect to get noa1 maybe next week. If I get rfe say around December, then I won't have enough time to respond. 60 days would be better for me.

Any ideas?

I sent my petition on 11/1/13 by USPS. Dallas Lockbox received it on 11/4/13. Still awaiting my NOA1.

Hope our cases fly by as it did for others last month. Read a couple of people here that they received their NOA2 less than 30 day after the NOA1. But does any one know if the fast turnaround is based on specific countries?

Hiiii to everyone biggrin.png

Happy to see that Otter and myself will have more people to spam!!!! xD

I got my NOA1 Hard copy Nov 7th.

(Been like a headless chicken for some unrelated bad news but I'm back!)

I guess that if in a couple of weeks we see some late October fillers, who filled after the shutdown, get approved we can start celebrating! xD

I honestly don't think it will take 1 month but it might, it just MIGHT take less than 5.... maybe 3 or so. I mean my reasoning goes like this:

USCIS takes usually 5 months. Apparently it IS possible to process a case in 1 month.

So, both the above facts makes you think that it takes that long because of excessive workload and queuing.

Now, if they are NOW approving people who filled early October (about the 5th ish) this would mean that they have caught up with some workload and they should start processing faster from now on.

BUT there is one thing to consider, there might have been cases or some type of paperwork they could not process during the shutdown, and had to be put aside. All of this pile would had to come back to the queue when the shutdown ended, so probably in front of all of us.

I would like to think that all this workload is not as much as they usually have (because they have been working on K1s for example), but might extend the one month processing time from one month to maybe 2-3 (or maybe even 5, this is just what has come out of my pondering).

Anyway.... xD I know I put WAY too much thought on all this. x_X

I do really hope we all do well. happy.png

I'm not TOO worried about the whole I-129f process, like we're both hoping it goes fast but I'd like to have a little time to save up some more money ^^

Is anyone else worried about the process once you're married? like it seems kind of confusing but i'm sure it'll be fine! just so many more forms haha xD

I am also hoping that the whole process wont take too long. I am a bit worried about all the papers that we will have to fill out and since i am also pregnant we will have to fill out some additional forms and i am just hoping that all works out so the forms are properly for the baby and also for me .

But besides that all should go smoothly ... hopefully.

Ideally i would like to go back to the US early late summer next year but i am not too sure if everything will be through by then.

I am also hoping that the whole process wont take too long. I am a bit worried about all the papers that we will have to fill out and since i am also pregnant we will have to fill out some additional forms and i am just hoping that all works out so the forms are properly for the baby and also for me .

But besides that all should go smoothly ... hopefully.

Ideally i would like to go back to the US early late summer next year but i am not too sure if everything will be through by then.

congratulations on the pregnancy!! :)

i'm sure everything will be fine for you!

Todays update is: my alien registration number changed today!....that's good, right? XD i'm not sure what it means haha! ^^;
