Soooooo

I am here attempting to gather some information regarding post NOA2 requirements and this are my findings thus far (MIGHT BE WRONG):

The USCIS sends your file to NVC, this takes between 4 and 8 weeks. You must spam them asking for your case number in this period of time. After they review it, they will ship it to the beneficiary's embassy. The embassy will contact the beneficiary (? I think) with a check list required to send before the interview (? Packet 3?). Beneficiary must take a medical exam while waiting. Once they review this new information, they will give you an interview date and another checklist (? Packet 4).

Things you will need no matter where you are:

  • Copy of the 1-29F package
  • I-134 Affidavit of support form
  • Complementary information of the above form
  • Copy of the NOA2 (hardcopy)
  • Letters of intent from both dated much sooner
  • Proof of ongoing relationship
  • Medical Exam

Now... I still feel lost. xD

Did I miss anything? Is that okay? I mean ... I am not quite sure it is. (I always feel I am missing something)

I don't know where to start... I feel if we start collecting the Affidavit complementary information it will be dated too early. (I mean we still have to wait like 3-4 more months until the interview right?)

I would very much appreciate any advice, xD correction or complementary info. :)

Add police certificate to that list ^^

Hmmm...birth certificate? Just things that prove your own identity? At this point i'm sort of thinking of things that may not be needed, but are good to bring along, just in case :P I've been reading about my embassy (London) and supposedly they are pretty laid back? I'm not sure about yours though D: But it's best to be safe ^^

But yeah, list of things looks good, just add things like police certificate, birth certificate and such

So when should we start trying to talk to NVC? :P Now?

Oh thank you! :)

I was planning on spamming (or begging my Fiance to spam xD ) NVC in 1 months time. But I don't know. Things seem to have been pretty slow with them, so will most likely take longer. I will try to call once a week from late Dec on, or so?

I am not really sure. xD! @_@
