Unfortunately guys I think we were all very very spoiled by seeing a few early approvals. We should be more realistic here and expect a 5 month wait period.. It has already been a month since my NOA1

I received a notification it had been sent, and my case status also changed on the USCIS website.

Yea, that's what they kept telling me each of the 5 times i called. Three of the times, I asked to speak straight to a Tier 2 Immigration Officer and all they had to add was that our petition was going through security checks!

Yes, that's the notification I received. Now you need to wait a week or two, then call NVC to see if you have a case number yet. NVC, by the way, is part of the Department of State, from what I know. :)

That sounds awesome!

Can't wait to get our case # because the way it works for the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines, is that once we get our case #, we can use that to register for whatever available date for interview and my fiance can pay for the fees and also do the medical exam
