Yes, it's a little early to lose hope. We're lucky things are moving so fast now. I'm still crossing fingers we get the NOA2 before Thanksgiving. Reeeeaaaaaaally hope so.

All I want for Christmas is....

I do not feel very stressed out by this situation, turn this into something nice - enjoy the last period of time you have close to family and friends in your native country. I am trying to keep myself busy and thereby not think about a future approval and all.

ROC Packet delivered 2/24/2017 - GC Expiration 5/20/2017.

NOA - 2/27

Bio - Walk-in 3/10

All I want for Christmas is....

I do not feel very stressed out by this situation, turn this into something nice - enjoy the last period of time you have close to family and friends in your native country. I am trying to keep myself busy and thereby not think about a future approval and all.

Hello everyone! Totally agree with this point! The more one starts to think about things the more stressed the situation becomes, i just offer to everyone to be more relaxed, enjoying communication with fiancees. Life is too short to be stressed about things and to re-think thousand times as for "what if", "when I", "and if"...And as i always say, good things take time to come, and all happens at the time it should happen, there is no need to force things to happen :)

11-20-2013 - Alien registration number changed.

11-22-2013 - NOA1 hardcopy (I-797C)

12-13-2013 - NOA2 approval notification ---> 12-20-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy

01-08-2014 - NVC recieved ---->01-09-2014 - NVC left

01-13-2014 - Consulate recieved ----> 01-14-2014 - E-mail from the Consulate

01-16-2014 - NVC letter hardcopy ----> 01-23-2014- Medical done

02-18-2014- Interview (Approved) ----> 02-20-2014- Visa issued ----> 02-24-2014- Visa in hand

I checkd my cas this morning it says "Post Activity Decision" on 25NOv, is this NOA2? TIA.

Actually it has to show the date of approval

You have been approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Why would this be the case? I assume each consulate operates differently (obviously within the same set of rules though)

4th February 2014 - Abu Dhabi Embassy Recieved our case and the status is now "READY" for interview

24th September 2014 - Interview date - FINGERS CROSSED!

Some Embassies receive so many applications that the interviews are booked through until March 2014. Doesn't mean it's the same for all embassies. :)
