Unfortunately guys I think we were all very very spoiled by seeing a few early approvals. We should be more realistic here and expect a 5 month wait period.. It has already been a month since my NOA1

I am pretty sure you have to wait for it to get forwarded to the NVC (National Visa Center)

- November 21st, 2013: Alien Registration Number Changed


- February 7th, 2014: NOA2 received by text & email!! (85 days from NOA1 to NOA2) dancin5hr.gif heart.gif


- February 13th, 2014 (14th in Philippines...Happy Valentine's Day Surprise Babe!!rose.gif heart.gif ): I-129F shipped to Dept. of State to receive visa #


- February 14th, 2014: NOA2 hardcopy received.... Happy Valentine's Day!


- February 21st, 2014: NVC assigns visa number. Can now schedule online, interview for fiance at US Embassy


- February 24th, 2014: Now have interview date!! (May 5, 2014 @ 7:30 am)


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Fiance finished medical exam & vaccinations (all in one early & long day) @ St. Luke's & passed


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!


- March 12th, 2014 (11th in US): Fiance interviews @ US Embassy....... APPROVED!!! YEA BABE!!idea9dv.gif dancin5hr.gif biggrin.png kicking.gif

It looks like we are in the same group, same day got NOA1 email, same day got hard-copy in the mail.

haha yes hope we get our noa2 together soon too :)

25 November 2013 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy in Mail

25 November 2013 - Alien Registration Number Changed

14 January 2014 - NOA2 (54 days after NOA1)

17 January 2014 - USCIS Shipped to NVC

29th January 2014 - NVC Recieved and assigned Case #

4th February 2014 - Abu Dhabi Embassy Recieved our case and the status is now "READY" for interview

24th September 2014 - Interview date - FINGERS CROSSED!

Still no NOA2 yet, how frustrating is the wait...im loosing hope.

Dont lose hope this is actually going faster than the expecting time its like the November filers have won the lottery it took other filers 3 to 4 months wait time ,Im waiting just hoping for the best this or next week.Keep courage its not late yet .

NOA-1 notice date of November 8..... Just got the NOA2 notification via email saying it was approved on November 25th.

Wow congrats.....thats very quick....which centre were you at?

I hope u seriously are being sarcastic considering that on ur timeline, you only got ur NOA1 on Nov 15.

Like others have said, be thankful that we applied when things are moving much faster than others that applied in early summer where they have 3-4 month waits to get their NOA2

I mean, i def want it to be as quick as possible but it could be a whole lot worse. :)

Yes, it's a little early to lose hope. We're lucky things are moving so fast now. I'm still crossing fingers we get the NOA2 before Thanksgiving. Reeeeaaaaaaally hope so.
