Tell me I am not dreaming.

Does this mean what I think it means?

Post Decision Activity

On November 21, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Can this possibly mean my I129f is already approved within 2 weeks??? I mean my fiancé is from the Philippines (expect more lengthy process)

Can anyone confirm this actually means we have made a MAJOR leap in this process and are on our way to interview????

Same here! I do feel bad for those who have been waiting a long time as well. I wish there was some sort of explanation as to why USCIS seem to work on these so randomly xD Surely it should be going in order of when they received them... but perhaps our cases were more easier to process than others? And yeah it's thanks to VJ that me and my fiancé's paperwork came out so well xD

Have a wonderful time, best of luck and I am sure your fiance will be so happy with the brilliant news! :)

I'm not one to post to a forum, but I feel as if I have been one of the few to set some sort of world record of sorts:

"Your I-129f was approved in 16 days from your NOA1 date."

Just wanted to share the news, though I realize the next steps from the NVC onwards might not be as fast.

To give everyone a sense of my timeline:

- Mailed out the I-129F via two day express mail on 10/30/13

- 1-129F received (per the official hardcopy notice; "NOA1"): 11/05/13

- 1-129F approved (per the email I just received; "NOA2"): 11/21/13

My process in putting together the packet was to follow the guidelines as provided on this website (making sure to look at the official websites in case instructions/processes changed). Do a two hole punch thing on top of all pages (with a binder clip to hold everything together), label all pictures and place them in clear bags or envelopes, make sure to follow all directions and sign where needed. Double check everything. Lastly, I think what helped was that within the timeline narrative of the relationship, I put "See Exhibit [X] for evidence showing this meeting/trip/etc", and then attach and label the evidence (boarding pass, picture, receipt, etc) as such. It was all very organized and easy to follow. Maybe that helped speed things along, but who knows.

I was curious how accurate the timeline estimate on this site is (which I realize is only as accurate as the entries users provide). Before I updated my progress, the estimate was 3 weeks later than what actually happened:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 13, 2013 and December 23, 2013*.

Hope this helps someone.

Me too x_x;

I felt pretty confident about the I-129f stuff but now I'm just sitting here thinking 'what now?' since apparently CSC doesn't tell you when NVC receives the files and that we have to chase after them or something? I'm just gathering the supporting stuff for the addafit at the moment, gonna get my vaccinations and police certificate sorted so at least I feel like we've progressed a bit xD

Also traceyr8 I think me and my fiancé's date was a couple days shorter than yours ^^ I think ours is like 13 days? xD but either way, November filers seem to be breaking the record! :P I'm so happy for everyone!

Yes Tracey I did the same. Followed the great tips from this site. also went through ALL the documents at least 15 times. Even going from back to front one time just to change things up. and yes I found an error! My paperwork was all indexed and I had all the type 1 proof of relationship but of course included type 2 pictures paper clipped to sheets of papers (all names and dates on back of photos).

I kept keeping in the back of my mind that it is just another human being reviewing this paperwork so I made everything easy! Something as silly as the plastic folder I had was annoying because the top kept flopping over it when I would go into it to get papers. Well I pictured the person reviewing the file getting angry also if this happened so I spent some time bending that plastic top back so well that it didn't flop over! Seriously if you think about it if I was reviewing hundreds of these files and one of them annoyed me, I would toss it aside and do others. Humans are humans!

Congrats to all who have been approved for round 2 and to the others, good luck and I am sure your approval is on the way.
