Ohhhh what is going on !!! NOA2 are all over !! that is awesome ! So happy for all of you guys but I kind of hope we will be next.. ClockWatch2.gif

I am starting to freak out about an RFE cray5ol.gif

I was feeling exactly like that yesterday... I am sure you will get it in the next few day :P Let's keep positive!

Yay!!! I'm so happy for you and that more approvals are coming in!! I know how you feel xD we did NOT expect such a short time for the NOA2! We were preparing ourselves for a 5 month wait for the NOA2 alone! But wow this is all very exciting! ^^ Good luck to you both smile.png

YAY! I'm so happy you have gotten yours Mari! I was feeling a little sad because I was hoping like you'd get yours the same day as me or something xD and when you hadn't I was like sad.png since we filed around the same time, but you were first, so I really thought you'd be before me! Which would have been fairer! But I guess there really IS no method to the madness with USCIS xD They seem to be honestly random in order, maybe the person looking at me and my fiancé's petition had a smaller pile of I-129f's to look through xD or something! It's a mystery!! I kind of wish they would explain why some peoples take less/more time than others, as it would make those who get nervous/worried feel better! But anyways i'm sort of rambling on here sorry XD very glad yours has arrived! good luck biggrin.png

Lets hope the processing times stay super quick as they have been, and that you receive yours next!! ^^

Try not to worry, I know it's hard, but trust me I was really, really, realllly certain we were going to get an RFE, because I thought we'd need more things or that we did something wrong, but nope! No RFE! Lets hope no RFE for you either smile.png Good luck!!

Best of luck to all you! Will definitely be staying around here and talking to you all ^^

^_^ Otter.... I love you :) Thank you for being so nice ^_^ Now, we keep waiting... :P I am a bit puzzled about how we are going to figure this out, we were planning to get married around September or so.... And it looks like it might be sooner, so lots of the plans we have will have to change.

I got my NOA2 yesterday (Nov 20) as well! Well I still haven't actually received the email...I just see the "Post Decision Activity" status when I check my case status on the website. I assume that counts?! It says we've been approved at least so I'm counting it! Hopefully they send the email too soon though. Congrats and good luck to everyone else! Let's keep each other updated on how things are going at the NVC! I'm so excited for all of us!

Weee!! Grats! :) I am so happy for you! It might take a while to get to the NVC... I've seen people with NOA2 from Oct 18th still not having their case arrive... so it looks like it might be a long wait.

I'm wondering if the sudden fast approvals is creating some sort of backlog for NVC. It used to be that the packets took only a few days from reaching NVC, getting assigned a case number, then being forwarded to the Embassies - now it's taking several weeks! I mean, I think it's better to have the waiting spread out, a few weeks for NOA2, a few weeks for NVC, but I do wonder if the step that used to take several months now only taking a few weeks, if that hasn't created problems for NVC.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Thank you everyone for the congratulations. I hope more and more get approved this fast. It is concerning, in which the length it took. We also wonder if this will cause further delays down the road. Hopefully not, but only time will tell.

Congrats to other approvals as well!

I'm assuming it will cause quite a bit of delay, unfortunately. However I think I am a lot happier knowing it was approved already, and it's just a case of waiting for it to reach (in my case) London.

Like I can't imagine how stressful it must have been for the people who applied a year or so ago, where the wait times were about 5 months between NOA1 and NOA2. Imagine not knowing for 5 months if you'd been approved or if you'd have simply waited that long only to get an RFE! I know I'd be going crazy xD I certainly admire the patience of those who had the love and patience with their partner to endure that long wait, but It is for sure worth it ^^

In me and my fiancé's case, if I'm completely honest, I'm hoping there is a little wait time for us at the NVC so I have enough time to prepare for what I need to do for the interview xD As we WERE prepared for the long wait for NOA2. We actually could not believe it had come so fast. It was like a miracle! :o
