Hello, otter~! Just wanted to say hi since it seems we've got very similar situations...my fiance is in the UK as well and our case is at the California Service Center. We got the NOA1 on Nov 1, so I'm hoping to hear about the NOA2 within the next couple weeks! We'll have to keep each other posted!

Just received an emailed today that they receive my application and I got a WACXXXXXXXX number. Is this consider the NOA1?

nov 5th - Sent I-129F Form

nov 13th - cash checked

Nov 18th - receive text and email notification

nov 5th - Sent I-129F Form

nov 13th - cash checked

Nov 18th - receive text and email notification

It sure is! ^^ and now you'll be able to sign up for updates and check on your case status! next thing will be the alien number being changed you'll probably see that happening in a few days or so!

So I(pitetioner) had send in my application on Nov 1. I check the tracking and it said it was delivered on the 5th but still did't reveive any form of notice. Yes i did send the one form that allows them to email me and text me. I did not asked for my packets to be signed. Should i be worry and what should I do or should do as a follow up? Please help.

I have a same situation here, mine was delivered on the 4th. You should check your money order or bank account and see either or not the money has been cash. In case it did, you will be fine. Just be patient and wait. Some ppl dont receive NOA1 but NOA2 after months. But if you are worry, you should call and ask them.

I got my hard copy today and noticed they misspelled my fiancé's last name.

On the plus side I was impressed that I got right through calling USCIS and no wait time but on the minus I am sure this will delay things. I did check all my paperwork and the name was spelled correctly on all my papers. so a simple error on their end...

But staying positive!!

Just saw that my Alien Registration Number was changed yesterday!!

My timeline so far (CSC):

Files sent: 2013-11-06

NOA1: 2013-11-12

A# changed: 2013-11-18

Hey guys! for those of you worrying about NOA1 not arriving yet, try not to worry. ^^ I'm sure that everything is fine I know how I felt when I was waiting for mine, I was scared that we forgot to sign something, something went wrong with the check etc, but everything was alright! ^^ (thankfully my fiancé isn't a worrier like me xD)

There are quite a few of you who mentioned that you are worried that you haven't got yours yet, have you guys got confirmation of it being delivered? If it says it's delivered, and you still haven't got your NOA1 after a few weeks (they can take that long, I believe. It just seems that a lot of people get theirs fast) then try to contact USCIS if you're concerned. If you don't have delivery confirmation, it could simply just be a case of the mail being slow

Also make sure to check your spam folder of your email account, just in case the notification ended up in there somehow! I know sometimes important emails of mine accidentally get in there by mistake so it's worth checking! ^^

As for everyone else waiting for NOA2, our case hasn't been touched since the 8th xD I'm trying my best not to check tons of times a day!! I'm really really hoping one of us gets our NOA2 soon, i'll be super happy! If you haven't already, it's worth checking the October filers thread ^^ as that can give you an idea of where USCIS are in processing our cases But keep in mind everyone's case is different, so don't be worried
