No, just file the big I-485 set with the a copy of receipt notice, I-797C formletter. That's it.

So everyone seems to agree that we should file I-485 ASAP.

If it is true that it is okay to file concurrent given our situation, I think this is what we will choose to do :))

I guess I have one last question, so originally we have a lawyer helping us on our case (not immigration lawyer). He sent and signed our i-130, is it fine if we choose to finish the process ourselves without him?

With VJs help i feel we can get through this better with more accurate informations than we've been given.

12.13.2013 NOA1 (hard copy)

12.16.2013 Recieved biometrics appointment/letter

- I-130 moved to processing (text/email alert)

12.17.2013 Attempted biometrics walk-in FAIL.

12.27.2013 went to biometrics appointment @11am. smooth process, about 30-45m.

12.30.2013 TEXT AND EMAIL case updated. i-130 approved and instruction letter mailed!

01.02.2014 Hard copy i-130 approval/transfer notice

01.08.2014 Status changed to Testing & Inteview

02.05.2014 EMAIL NOA INTERVIEW DATE: 03.11.2014 ♡

02.06.2014 interview NOA repeat email/text (03.11.2014)

02.14.2014 text/email notice EAD Card/production

02.18.2014 text/email repeat notice EAD card/production

02.21.2014 text/email EAD mailed out directly to our address

02.26.2014 EAD DELIVERED IN MAIL

03.11.2014 INTERVIEW DAY 1:15PM APPROVED ON SPOT!! (Text/email GC in production)

03.17.2014 GC ARRIVED IN MAIL!!

Yep, file I-485 now and attach a copy of your NOA1.

Unless your husband really does plan on going back to Japan, you can do this yourselves without a lawyer. It's a straightforward DIY process, and aside from extraordinary circumstances, nearly all answers can be found here on the forum.
