At what point can my fiancee begin to work in the US?

My fiancee will be coming to the US this winter on her K-1 visa. While my parents have sponsored her petition, and I'm looking for better paying work, her having a paycheck would be much better than not having one. At what stage in this process is she legally allowed to start working?

2013.1.7- I-129f mailed to Texas Lockbox (with correct fee this time--> Delivered 2013.1.8 (priority date)

2013.5.29- RFE mailed--> 2013.6.3 RFE arrives --> 2013.7.3 Forms mailed back to CIS via DHL--> 2013.7.5 CSC confirms receipt of evidence

2013.7.26- I129f approved! --> 2013.8.16- NVC confirms receipt of petition

2013.8.30- P3 arrives at fiancee's home --> 2013.9.8 P3 documents mailed to GUZ

2013.9.20- P4 email arrives

2013.10.25- Medical exam; 2013.10.28- Interview--> APPROVED!

2014.2.20- POE!; 2014.2.21- reunited in my hometown :)

Ok, thanks. That makes sense. Based on that, she'll probably be here for a good three months before she's allowed to start, because we won't get married until she's been here a couple months and then have to wait for the paperwork to go through. It'll give her time to adjust to life in America, but two months is a long time to just be sitting around.

It'll be longer than that, most likely. EAD can easily take 3+ months right now, and you can only file for it when you file AOS so you need to get married first. So if you don;t plan on getting married for 2 months after she arrives, you are looking at about half a year before she can work.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
