Hey, i (the foreign fiancé) am getting into the final stages of completing the I-129F form and there is one particular section which i am stuck on, its asking me for my I-94 number which ive already read up about and found that they are now done automatically, i last entered the US on the 7th of August this year however ive tried looking for my form on the website but it keeps coming up as ''Not found'' ive tried several variations with no luck.

So i then read the question more thoroughly which asks this; http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/855/uu99.png/ as i, (the beneficiary) will NOT be in the US while filing the form i take it that i can leave this whole part blank? it would be great if so because getting my I-94 info looks like it is going to be a massive pain.

on another note though, i do have the option of filing this form while i am in the US with my fiancé over christmas i have just assumed that waiting until i get home to avoid that section of the form may be easier, if i were to file it over christmas does anybody know if it is possible for me to request a new I-94 number while going through immigration again? im assuming that i could have the exact same trouble of only getting a passport stamp and still not having any I-94 info so it seems whatever i do im completely stuck on this part sad.png

Thanks for reading

So you are NOT in the US now? Get it together and all done now. Send your fiancé your stuff...letter of intent, biographic form, photocopies of any meeting in person (boarding passes, passport stamps to US. Have him do his part, print, sign and mail it before you arrive. If you don't trust him to get it right, then mail it after your next visit. Then you are not currently in the US and don't need to report your I-94. Does that work for you?

It's kind of an odd question for a fiancé and I don't think they even mean fiance's that happen to be visiting. But if you want to be precise and not file while you are on US soil, then don't.

There are no trick questions. But forms have uses for multiple reasons or visas so are not tailored only to you or your country.

Example: State or Province. UK has neither. You don't have to read into it County. You can leave it blank

Example: National ID number. UK doesn't have one. Don't figure they mean your National Health number.

Thanks for the advice Nich-Nick, i am admittedly reading too much into some of these quesions but like everyone else im just trying my best to not receive an RFE. Ive decided to wait until i return home so that i wont have to spend days chasing up lost information trying to get my I-94 number however id like to know how you or anyone else reading for that matter would tackle this part of the form http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/862/uu99.png as i am not going to currently be in the US i can assume that i can leave the i-94 and dates part blank but would you suggest filling in the second half regarding passport number and expiration dates, and finally i cannot find any info relating to a travel document number?

Thanks

It says IF your fiancé is currently in the US, omplete the following

His fiancé will not be in the US, so there is nothing to fill out. All of the "following" only apples to meeting the qualifier of being in the US.

Fiance in the US?

Yes >>> answer question 15 (all parts)

No >>> skip to the next question

Take it as it is written. Don't think "well I do have a passport number so I could do part of this #15.". Nope the whole question is for those in US.
