Hello
I am confussed and hope someone can help me out. What confirmation pages do I need to take or send to the Embassy in Ankara Turkey for the K-1 visa interview? I paid the 240.00 fee and have the confirmation page printed for the DS-160. Is there a confirmation page that we were supposed to print for the 240.00 payment? if so how do i get one? Also what confirmation page do i need for the postal pick-up? So many confirmation pages and i want to be sure we have them all. I hope you can help clear this up for me. smile.png

How exciting but stressful. i can only imagine the feelings that are going through your head and heart also the relief that this part of the journey will be done and time to move on to the next!!!!! dancin5hr.gif

So did he just get the e mail 2 days before his interview?

After packet 3's paper work is mailed in to the Embassy what happens next? We will be sending the packet next week after he gets his stuff translated. What all did you send in and what is he taking to the interview?

Sorry for asking so many questions but it is nice to have someone that is going before us to ask questions to.

Please let me know how the interview goes.

Good Luck

Hugs

No he got it a few days ago. He is Ankara now he finished the dr appointment. I did all the papers and then sent them to him to sign and do his polis paper and birth certificate. Bulents English is ok. But not up to the level the papers are in.

I leave for turkey in 2 weeks

I know they big on have you met the family especially the female members and why did I choose her and they want to hear because I love her. I have been grilling him. Lol

But I talk to his sisters all the time on Facebook and have met them twice.

Hey at least he is approved that is good news. i have my dicorce papers in a file that i am taking with me along with all the originals of everything else. What questions did they ask? and how long was he there? i have to get my flight over there and i am wondering if i should go right before the interview and then stay and we come back together, do you know how long it takes to get the visa after they are approved? or if i leave after the interview and he will come alone.... such decisions!!!!

Well they process the visa and then they mail it to the ptt office you request. Could be fast or could be 10 days. I had us flying to USA on nov 26 and the officer said nope won't make it. Because now he has to send his passport and my papers to them. I don't know why the copies were not good enough and now I sent the only originals I have

They ask him if I met his mom and sisters and if they approve. And why does he want me. Bulent had a visa almost 2 years ago but his mom got sick and when he tried to change his visa he could not because the embassy was closed for construction and we had re apply so them asking for this is ridiculous. But what can you do

Hi

I have a question.....

Did you send proof of ongoing relationship with packet 3 or did he just take the proof with him and did they even look at it?

Thanks

G

Had the same things. They are more interested in talking to

You and seeing how you react. I have tons is proof because I have been to turkey

Having met his family and knowing they approve is a big thing

And of course proof both of you are free and clear to marry

I changed our tickets to January

I even sent emails where I speak to him in Turkish and I talk to his sisters on Facebook

And neices n nephews all in Turkish as well.

They want to hear he loves you and wants to be with you that's the biggest
