It is a detachable magazine, Charles. NOT a "clip" Jeezum!

Oh wait. Sorry. The experts at "Super Soaker" say its a clip. I am sure we can expect this as a "link" as "proof" when the morons who don't know the difference and want to implement Swiss gun laws in the US so we can have 30 million government issued machine guns "respond" to the issue they have no knowledge of.

Switzerland, the land of the machine gun. Brilliant. I suspect that the person who keep promoting this loony idea does not know the Swiss regulations for firearms in public places either. What started out as a slightly poor taste joke after yet another gun related atrocity has turned into an attempt to portray anyone who wants to see less guns in the hands of the public in public places as stupid. It will never work, advocating that the only safe society is a society bristling with firearms is the most ridiculous proposition ever made and yet some people keep tossing the idea out there as valid and aspirational. Pathetic.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

What exactly do you think you have proved? Let me break it to you gently, nothing. Perhaps you could post say, a portion of swiss law that states that swiss citizens are allowed to carry guns around indiscriminately everywhere regardless of type? Thanks :)

It doesn't take much...good.gif

Maybe not, but it's too much for you to muster obviously.

Just that its similar to the US. To carry loaded you need a permit similar to a US conceal carry permit (with a few state exceptions), otherwise the firearm must be unloaded.

Except it's not similar at all. Virtually no one can carry a loaded gun, permits are extremely difficult to obtain, so again, actual legislation to support your wacky theory please.

Put simply I cannot find statistics on the number of permits issued per year to say whether they are difficult to obtain or not.
