A kid suffering from severe depression makes an terrible life choice, another man is dead with all the devastation that will cause for his family, thousands of people have been inconvenienced and all you can bang on about is whether gun rights are going to be blamed? Pathetic.

All I know is his father reported to the police that his son was suicidal. That's not something that father's normally act upon so I think we can fairly conclude that something devastating was occurring in the family, I doubt any of it can be attributed to 'moral decay' as all the statistics we have available conclude that we are getting better at living together without resorting to violence . Our present society is probably 100 times less violent, harsh and corrupt than that of our Victorian forebears. If that's moral decay then I say let it continue

Suicide I get, not sure about why people insist on taking others with them. I will say though that headlines about stories like this one seem relatively commonplace these days.

Suicide I get, not sure about why people insist on taking others with them. I will say though that headlines about stories like this one seem relatively commonplace these days.

I don't get depression at all, I have never suffered from it. It would seem though that people who suffer with the condition make decisions that do not make sense which is why they need medial attention from professionals.
