any bets it's another disgruntled democrat?

Can you imagine the media feeding frenzy when one of these guys actually turns out to be a gun rights guy. I can't believe no one has said assault weapon yet.

and here we, first mention of assault rifle

A gunman concealing an assault rifle walked up to an LAX checkpoint Friday morning and opened fire on a TSA agent, but when the gunman passed the security point, he was shot and wounded by a police officer, a former ranking Los Angeles Police Department officer who was at the scene told CNN. The gunman wore camouflage gear, a source told CBS News.

Another going postal episode, another normal day in the good ol' US of A

Suspect arrested, 'multiple victims' in LAX shooting

LOS ANGELES — A suspect was taken into custody at Los Angeles International Airport Friday after a shooting at a Terminal 3 checkpoint left a TSA employee injured and produced "mutiple victims."

"Suspect is now in custody. Multiple victims," LAX officials said in a tweet.

Multiple media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, CNN and NBC, say that a TSA employee was killed.

LAPD Assistant Chief Earl Paysinger says the suspect was armed with a semi-automatic rifle.

CNN reports that the gunman approached a checkpoint at the terminal and opened fire. Airport officials said the incident began at 9:30 a.m. PT.

Dana Starfield tells KCBS-TV that she heard a boom behind her while standing in security line.

"We heard someone scream, 'a gun, everybody get down, get down.' ... We just crawled through the security gate....''

Starfield said Virgin airline employees guided her and several others into a small room, where they tried to block entry by moving a copying machine in front of the door.

"We heard a few more booms,'' she said.

She said about 15 minutes later SWAT officers came through and led them to safety.

Luke and Alexa Sieber of Green bay, Wisc., were in line at an airport counter when they heard eight shots followed by another burst of 20.

Witness Brian Keech said he heard "about a dozen gunshots" from inside the security gate at Terminal 3, which serves Allegiant Air, Frontier, JetBlue, Spirit, Virgin America and other airlines.

Murder/Death/Kill in LA? What's the big dealio? Just another day there in Sunny Southern California...

So what if it means less taxpayer numbers at the end of the day? Big Deal !

It's not a big deal because you aren't related to the victim/s.

Compassion is an old wooden ship.

You know in Tucson with open carry allowed you didn't see as much trouble as in LA. Bit odd watching the Harley guys with they guns strapped on cutting of the guy in the F350 with his also on his hip. A nut with or without a gun is always dangerous and dispurtive

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Based on the picture of that dude's rifle laying on the terminal floor it appears that the libs were really effective with that ban.

I highly doubt that someone from Salem County, NJ will turn out to be a gun rights guy. Looks like just another lib gone bad.
