Less than two weeks ago, a 27-year-old white male was gunned down in the street by three black males in what police called a “failed robbery.”
Now, David Santucci’s family is speaking out, saying he could be the victim of a hate crime.

Mr. Santucci was killed by a single 9mm shot through his heart late on August 12. Three men were charged with first degree murder in the crime and they’re calling it a robbery gone wrong, the Blaze reported.
Mr. Santucci’s brother-in-law, Miguel De Diago, has his doubts this murder was a failed robbery.
“The first and foremost question in De Diago’s mind: If this was a robbery, why did his brother-in-law still have his wallet, car keys, and cell phone? Nothing was taken from him. And witnesses confirm that,” the Blaze reported.
“Miguel also says the police told him that the 9mm shell casing was found 10 feet from the body — an indication to him that the shooter was not at close range as would typically happen with a robbery.”
The family source told the Blaze that he tracked one of the alleged shooters, Mario Patterson, through his Facebook account, which no longer exists.
“He said the page had numerous photos of Trayvon Martin, and he wondered if it’s possible the shooting was a revenge killing for the Zimmerman verdict,” the report said.
On July 13, former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman was found not guilty on all counts in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, an acquittal that sparked nationwide protests by those who claim Mr. Martin was targeted because of his race.
The report comes on the heels of the thrill killing of a 22-year-old Australian man, Christopher Lane, by three black youths who say they were “bored” and wanted to kill someone.

Far reach to try to relate this to Zimmerman.

Memphis is just the worst place to live in period. I don't understand why people still live there. High crime, extremely low pay, the only people in Memphis that have money are old money people and the little Grizzles team who aren't worth a dime. And after they tore down the ghettos that were down town crime really increased because those people were homeless and had no money.

Memphis, what a joke.
