I read = Insurance companies stated - even a few month delay on enrollment will increase premiums 15-20%...immediately and get worse from there. Ouch.

What is really going to blow it out of the water is when only the poor, sick and old sign up. The young and finically able will just pay the 95. Costs are going to explode

95? No, they will pay 1% of their income or 95 whichever is higher.

So either the program bankrupts or 20 people pay high enough premiums to cover themselves and 80 others

Liberal logic: Millions and millions of people cannot pay for their own healthcare. We will solve this by making each one pay for themselves + 4 other people.

As much as there is a sliver of me that almost wishes that was true, think about it for a second.

If you were trying to sabotage a program so you could scrap it and try something else, you would give it a good start, and put in a system so that it fails years down the road. You wouldn't sabotage it right away. The only thing that would accomplish is to completely destroy any credibility you'd have to the point where your ultimate goal wouldn't have a single chance.

It seems to me - they would not have been able to sell it. With ACA - They took the path of less resistance and sold / passed a time bomb instead. I've done a little reading = Nobody has an unwind answer. It's too late. Just have to keep moving "forward".

Quick reading reveals = State exchanges are enrolling at a pretty good pace. (but) Most are Medicaid. That's not good. Not good at all.

The cynic in me who has had some involvement in IT projects in the past knows that even if you did not specifically design the system to fail, the parameters chosen, the management structure, pretty much guaranteed it would.

Given time the site can be fixed, but the illogicality and most importantly cost does not change.

You should not make any judgements. Those are "rough numbers" according to Jay Carney. It may take a month or so to add them all up but there could have been as many as 7. Or even 9. Who knows? Certainly not Obama, he doesn't know anything

Stop making it sound like this is the biggest government train wreck to ever happen and a potential atomic bomb for Democrats that need to get elected.

Also, since ONLY Democrats voted for this, I am going to give ALL of them credit. When referring to this piece of trash, I am not going to continue giving Obama all the credit (he didn't even know anything about it) So I will alternate Dems names and "care" Pelosicare, Schumercare, etc. We need to be sure to spread the credit and to make sure everyone remembers that Obama made sure that Walmart and Unions got a 1 year waiver AND that congress wants nothing of this!
