karachif2a f2a (female) nov-08-2013 visa was approved on nov-08-2013, waiting for passport, they told us to wait for 15 days.

I reallly hope and peay u will get ur visa in 15 days. but look at myself i was also approved and told to get my visa in 7-10 days, but i m at the edge of 4rth month. but yes every case is different, hope you get your visa soooon.

Does that mean that i am going through long AP, they did not mention anything about AP in interview.

Congratulations! let us know when the passport with visa comes, its karachi so i think its normal it will take that long...

Oh i just saw this post, did it say 'ready' from the begining or was it 'issued' at any point?

May be it changes to 'issued' tomoro, it has happened before, expect your visa only after it changes to 'issued' and call DOS to confirm.

it was never at "issued" status, it was showing "Ready" from the beginning till yesterday but today it is showing "AP".

well unfortunately ready doesnt means they are going to issue visa , until u dont see the word ISSUE

Dont worry too much, there were many cases like yours, after one day of AP they changed to 'Issued' the very next day. hopefully that day is today for you.

but as chaingang said just wait till it turns to 'issued', then call DOS to confirm, and then celebrate once the visa is firmly in hand. Wishing you luck. Give us the good news soon

It was continouslt updating from 26th july till 6th sep, after that it stucked and only updated with replies to my emails.
