they did not touched my case still? why that horrible CO told me that i ll get visa in week or so...

Kamraan I know you are frustrated, its an unfair process and nobody knows why some cases takes years and others take days. But the main thing is to try taking control of things already in hand, thats your relationship and your peace of mind. Set a date and stop counting, it will get easier i promise, thinking about the visa and stuff you have no control over, will drive you nuts!

No One will listen to you till you hit the 6 months mark, after that take all actions necessary. But I hope it doesnt goes that far and InshaAllah you will get it soon, just dont panic!

but i want to tell you something, whenever my husband or me call DOS, They always said that your case is at embassy, not in washington for name checks etc, so it is at embassy level that is for sure, but i dont know why embassy forget about it

We are in the same boat kamraan, maybe not in lenght of time but after my third update I ask DOS what was up and they told me that my case is at the embassy too. Heaven knows what they are cooking in the embassy, I just hope it aint our files!

I would like to know what you all have done to get some help. Did anyone contact their senator or congressman? Were they any help? Have you been talking to DOS??

My congressman is writing the embassy , but the embassy is saying the same old things . No way to tell when AP will be over. You cant rush it .

How they think my 2 year wait is " rushing " them . I dont understand .

Embassy will always say the same old thing cause its not the CO that write these emails, its the general staff. They check the ceac site just like us and copy paste what they see. So asking them for any info is useless, DOS on the other hand are thankfully a better option, that is if you get a friendly agent...

and what about immigration attorney zirzai? if he contacts the embassy to ask about AP and its reasons if some one is not given 221g and didnt told abou APt at the spot of interview,

To get an attorney for AP would be a big waste of money. Get your senator or congressman they contact the embassy for free.

yeah that's true , they can issue you visa only in one case if order comes from the supreme court than automatically all aps and all red flags will be vanished , i know one case who was in AP for long time his case was also in Islamabad and he was able to finish his ap via supreme court order.
