Its been over 4 weeks since my I 129f approval from USCIS but called NVC twice still has not received the case. Here this morning I received email from NVC inquiry regards on my case

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center has not received

your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Please scan and email your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action to

nvcresearch@state.gov. Type the receipt number in the subject line of

your email. We will contact USCIS on your behalf to find your petition.

If your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action does not indicate USCIS approved

your petition and sent it to the Department of State, please contact

USCIS for a status update.

Thanks

Regards,

Edward Tio

They want you to send them a scanned copy of your approve I-29F petition letter (I-797) from USCIS. Email NVC with your case number in the subject line. Make sure you put d.o.b of you and fiancée and name and a copy of the letter.

Keep it Real

It's been taking up to 8 weeks lately, for petitions to be sent on to NVC. Yours hasn't arrived with them as yet.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

CSC is slow to send the NOA2 to NVC. There are many threads about this. By VJ's status updates it is taking around 40 days before before NVC recieves your NOA2.

My approval was a day after yours. I stopped calling/emailing NVC for the meantime and will wait for 2 more weeks to start bugging them again. I've been checking the timelines and it shows that NVC had been receiving CSC K1 approved cases (NOA2s ) dated the last week of Sept 2013. I am hoping that in a week or 2, they will start processing NOA2 dated the first week of October and that's ours!

Well, we can only hope for the best. Goodluck!

we were approved 30 Sept and nothing yet. There was a 3 week lag from the government shut down -- I'm guessing

It looks like they are processing again but at a slow rate.

I think it will be more like 50 days

Also there are 2 holidays this month too,

Hello! We started contacting NVC a month after our petition got approved and got the same email as yours. Don't worry about it. Just be patient. We're on our 5th week since approval and after 6 call attempts, NVC said they just got our petition today and they have yet to enter it in their system. So we'll give it a few more days before calling again for our Manila #.

We really just have to be patient. All of us from CSC. Good luck! :)
