A waiter at an Italian chain restaurant in Kansas got a note denying him a tip because of his perceived gay lifestyle, prompting a show of support for the man by local diners.

“Thank you for your service, it was excellent. That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to God. May God have mercy on you,” a couple who had dined at the Carrabba’s in Overland Park, Kan., wrote on their receipt, according to NBC affiliate KSHB.

IMO, that couple made a mistake. They fit an obvious demographic, and know better (or should) to step outside of their known demographic buying/purchasing 'circles'.

It's not a mistake they can fix, but 'for the next time' they can be more conscious of their environs and their purchasing decisions.

I had a fundie attend a dinner we had the other night. "Bad mistake husband of a friend".Anyway

He actually proceeded to tell several of us that gays had something in their brain, that researchers have also found present in most criminals. He went on to say that he thinks something makes it grow because people are not born sissies.

It was all I could do to keep my mouth shut and not scream. I probably will not see them again for years and thought, "what's the point". It will just cause a scene, and will not change him..
