Hi everyone!

First of all, what a great forum, I have been tearing my hair out trying to see current information about filing times/experiences and all I could find were ones from years ago - it's so great to be able to connect with people who are going through the same thing at the same time.

We have just filed today (via attorney) for our AOS from L1A/L2 to GC, filed at the Texas Center. Now I cross all my fingers, toes, legs, arms... that things move quickly!

A bit of background - we have been in the States for a bit, I've been here a year and my husband nearly 2. I came on a B2 as we weren't married, now we're married (2 months ago), I've changed to an L2. I don't have an EAD yet, so for me the main stress of this process is waiting for that so I can FINALLY work again! I've had a year off, it's been great in some ways but I can't wait to get back to work. Then when the GC's arrive in due course, we will be all set!

Anyway - good luck to all the November filers, let's hope the 'holiday spirit' moves things along for us.
