We got approved today in Charlotte NC, We were interview by a very young lady. She just ask my wife and I information and then she go over every page of my album pictures, and then she asked how did we met? After that she stamp Approve on my form and took my I-94, she told me by rule she would take my EAD card, but she said I just keep it and looking for your job, she said after I got my greencard I have to return the EAD card back.

My interview was around 20 mins long, it was a very nice experience. I would love to thank everybody and visajourney.

P/S: after I walked out the building I got text mgs they ordered my card, but now it changed to decision and they sent me a approve notice? Is that mean they still order for my card?

Decision

On January 28, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Anyone have this notice after interview?

I485 status changed to testing and interview stage :). How long did it take for people to get their interview date and is it usually a big wait for the big day itself ?

SO my original interview date of 1/28 was postponed and moved to 2/5. I called USCIS and had a two hr wait to talk to someone, i used the callback option, and they explained that my file was delivered late to the Jacksonville office, so an unfortunate delay but on the flip side gives us more time to prepare and my birthday is in February, so hopefully an early Birthday present. Cheers to everyone who has gotten good news, and those waiting all the best.

Hi everyone,

it's great to see we are all moving along and getting into the scheduling and interview stage, mine was moved into that on Tuesday. However I'm still waiting on my EAD it's day 73 now I saw most people have already got theirs. My question is can people tell me their wait from when they changed to testing and interview scheduling and actually getting an interview date and if any November filers are still waiting on their EAD ???

Just GOT my EAD card. Tomorrow i will attempt to go to SS and next week will schedule a road test. Im glad things are moving pretty fast.

Im only worried that my signature on EAD is different from my signature on papers ( dont ask me why, i dont even know why lol). I just never signed any documents before and I dont have any conform signature so everytime Im asked to sign something, I just write whatever comes to mind. I hope USCIS wont make a big deal out of it ( I only worried one I saw someone on VJ asked to sign a blank paper on interview date to see if it matches his signature on the application).

Ok, I guess I need to stop my paranoia right now.

We're almost at the same point. My wife applied for SS card on Tuesday. When it comes in the mail, she'll test for a DL.

I wouldn't worry to much about your signature. Hopefully they're kind of close. My signature varies a bit once in awhile.
